The food was good, but like many places right now, it seemed to be understaffed.

Josh took a great care of us, he was very fast, and friendly. I was impressed with his great service, but not much with the food, and the $70 bill for 3 omelets!

This could be a nice place with a few changes but the food quality and terribly slow service are out of alignment with the crazy pricing. We dropped just shy of $50 with tip for two bland and forgettable menu items (we both drank water). We waited between 30 and 40 minutes to order and get our meal. There was only one waiter and we wondered if he had kitchen duties, too. Nice waiter but we agreed the experience knowing we would never return to the River’s Edge Cafe.

Great little cafe on La Riviera close to big lots and the watt avenue access. Visited once and was good food close by our house . Had breakfast with the hubby .

Too pricey for the food. Empty . Only one table had three people sitting there. And as I ordered my food I wondered what was wrong with this place. I thought maybe it was too pricey. But as I bit into my food I freaked out thinking that I might have COVID because there was no taste. But when I tasted the hot sauce and the syrup it tasted fine. The food was so bland it was beyond anything that I’ve tried before. The problem is food not the price. If the food was good people would be willing to pay the price. But it’s definitely the food that’s lacking.

This place has great friendly service. All the windows make it very nice to sit in. The bathroom is clean and good is delicious. Even though they don’t serve dinner this is a great place to go after church.

The stuffed hashbrowns were tasty. The pancakes were fluffy and well cooked. Our mimosa and bloody mary wasn’t super strong.

Food was great I had chicken and biscuits. Chicken was tender, biscuits were soft and buttery. My bf had Griddle combo. Came with 6 pancakes GAHLEEE! Very pricey. Nice experience.

The food was good but over priced. The service was zero. This place has potential but seriously lacks in service. 20 bucks for two small eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns.? Would’ve been fine if it hadn’t taken 90+ minutes with 15 minutes waiting on the check. Server never returned to table after taking order. Way too many good places to waste money here.
