I have had barbecue from Texas to South Carolina and the only great barbecue I have had was in Texas and South Carolina BUT I would recommend this place as having fairly good barbecue ( no good smoky flavor I love ) . The sides make up for the average barbecue though . Some of the best baked beans and potato salad I have had in this area . Well worth a stop anytime your in their area .

The food was average, nothing spectacular. The older black lady (blonde curly wig) could use some customer service training. I was asking her if they had things available and she was very rude with her replies. She basically assumed I should know the menu and which days certain items are sold. The younger workers were definitely more friendly.

A friend introduced me to this hidden gem, and i can’t thank him enough. This place is delicious. Their sides are unbelievably tasty and the pulled pork was spot on. I asked for cornbread, which surprised me, because it came looking like a pancake, and not like a biscuit or muffin that i was expecting. But it was still good! The next time I’m craving bbq, I’m coming back here.

Best BBQ in Clarksville! South of The River BBQ also has made from scratch sides, delicious desserts and so much more. My mouth is watering just thinking about all of the options they have to choose from. The staff treats you like family. I always take leftovers home, because the portions are so generous. I just love it here.

Amazing! The baked beans were so good and the employees were super kind! Except for one.. this one girl I assume she was having a bad day but she didn’t say a single word: I forgot her name but I hope that her day gets better. And it’s amazing!
