It can be a little noisy when busy. Service is great! Food is beautifully presented and generous. Tastes good too. Needs a wine and beer menu at the table. The pleather seats are peeling.

Well staffed and family friendly atmosphere. I first thought it was a little pricey but when my food was served it was justified and then some. The portions are plenty and youll probably want to take some home. I would have had left overs but my dinner was so good i couldnt stop eating even though i was already full. I have no regrets!

The food was good but they truly lack customer service and waitress really had no people skills.

Meals were exceptionally large in quantity. The food options seem more “American” than Mexican. I was hoping for some spicy options, as I love the spicy, but there was not much by the way of hot sauces or spicy dishes to be had. Pork fajitas were absolutely wonderful.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. They have the best food, that is so fresh. It’s made to order, so it’s hot. The owners and employees create an atmosphere you want to be in. They have quite a bit of room and can accommodate larger groups. Best Carne asada!

Good food and a lot of it! We (3) just had the usual, fajitas and burritos, but they have an excellent menu and we plan to try a different variation on our next visit.

I had never been to this restaurant but it’s definitely a great place to eat. The waiter even shared some humor with us which was great. I had chicken enchiladas which was very good but my wife got some kind of fajita burrito. Now not only was this burrito amazing but it was bigger than my arm! Lol, no joke the look on her face when he set it down in front of her was priceless. Even had the table across from us asking about it. Will definitely return here.

After having dined here about 5 times in the last year, getting a different dish every time, I have to amend my review downward after just eating there once again. I ordered my first Trapala Burrito (Pollo) and I agree with another reviewer, it was HUGE… those who go for quantity most of all will not be disappointed. After the first times eating there, I wondered if it is a certain style of cooking from a certain area of Mexico. Everything I ordered came very WET. Chille Relleno, wet, like in a soup. Chicken Mole came with a big dish of gravy-like Mole… like a huge bowl full. Too much of a “good thing.” The one dish I liked had cactus on the plate, and it was really tasty, and not soup-like. So, after reading reviews before going, I told myself to look at pics and not make the mistake of ordering anything that could be unexpectdely “Soupy.” I got the Burrito which the menu said came with pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream and chicken grilled over charcoal with rice and beans. I waited almost 30 minutes from the time of ordering my one burrito until I had to go and ask if they might have misplaced my order which then came right up. I had gone around 3:30 pm and there was one table with a woman and a child who had ordered and been served before I ordered. I was brought salsa and chips but not the Mexican coke I ordered, nor any offer of water. The salsa was very bland, no hint of spice or heat… I never did get any request for water, or check back to see how my food was. The pico de gallo was just lettuce and diced tomatoes. No salt, lime, cilantro, onions, very dull and no offer of hot sauce for my burrito which had no spice either. The chicken did not taste to me like charcoal broiled, just a few pieces of plain chicken here and there. On the side was about a tablespoon and a half of guacamole. I finally ordered avocado on the side to take home with me. I ate about 1/4 of it before deciding that I needed to take the rest to go and fix it up at home after buying fresh pico de gallo at Safeway, along with more avocado and some Mexican hot sauce for flavor. I asked before I left if they don’t use cilantro in their pico de gallo and she said there was a “little there.” I searched through it carefully and saw none and tasted none. Same for diced onions, lime and/or salt. I realize there are many happy campers here but this review is for a select few who might consider that the food did not get the attention I would expect from what I ordered and paid $16.00 for. The staff, when available, are always pleasant as has been reported, the environment is clean and a nice place to chill, the drinks such as the pina colada in a pineapple are superb. But the food itself is presented nicely but without the necessary attention to make it tasty. *sigh*
