I got some gas at the Phillips 66 it is attached to, and went inside to grab a bite to eat, not even realizing this place was there. Ordered a bacon chicken wrap, fries, and a drink. $11 seemed a high, but once I got the meal I was quite pleasantly surprised! It was loaded with bacon, and flavor. The fries are perfect. And portions were very nice. Overall I couldn’t have been much happier with a place I had no expectations of!

Lived in the Lou all my life and never had Smugala’s pizza until a week ago. I’m now a believer. Its the best St. Louis style thin crust pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve had it twice in the past 7 days and am ordering again tonight. Specifically, I like the fact that they seem to use more sauce, their sauce is a tad sweet, and their crust is flaky and crispy.

I was horrified while in the Barnhart location. This shift was managed by a young man looked to be just out of highschool. His girlfriend came in, went directly behind the counter to hang out with all the other teenagers that worked there. I saw the manager and the young lady kissing behind the register. Very unprofessional. A couple of the teenagers working made it very clear that my presence was an inconvenience to their sitting on the counters playing on their phones. When I approached the register I was greeted with an eye roll. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told he is to busy. I will never return and will tell everyone I know to avoid this location. VERY RUDE CHILDREN WORKING.
