It’s my second time at beer 88. The burger this time was the monthly special burger, the matador. An amazing tasting burger! We used the outdoor seating because it’s dog friendly. The service was excellent. The beer selection…well they have a lot of tasty selections! If your around this area of lynchburg, definitely check em out!

Always a good experience here. Get the fried cauliflower bites app, the spicy batter on them so good, then a burger for sure..all amazing, but I recommend the. Beer 88 Burger- the balsamic onion jam on this is on point!

Do yourself a favor and come here. The menu is unique and delicious, the beer selection is immense, the staff is knowledgeable. They once made the news because they got mad at a dude who payed for his meal in loose change. As long as you’re not that idiot, you will have a great experience.

I looked up this establishment and the burgers got good reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection of burgers. We went in and the location used to be a chinese restaurant which is apparent because they did not change all of the decor. We got an appetizer of fried pickles which were good and not greasy, but frozen and not freshly battered. The burgers were actually quite amazing. We were very pleased with our overall experience. The service was quick and pleasant. Very good place to go with classic and also adventurous burgers.

Beer 88 is fantastic. I am a frequent diner, and I think the establishment is great. In a city with a lot of subpar dining experiences and not much of a beer selection beyond the standard stuff, this place really takes the cake for excellent food and beer variety. If you sit at the bar you will see, time and time again, long-time customers who come in and catch up with the staff as if they’re family. They have a lot of regulars. I think it speaks to the business and the people who work there.
