I used to love the counter! I was a patron at the Palo Alto Location way back. I decided to try my local one and was disappointed. It seems like their signature taste in the beef has changed. In addition their shoe string fries where way overcooked and tasted a bit stale. I had to throw them out. The Chipotle sauce definitely changed as well. Don’t think I will be ordering again.

Just another glorified Burger Joint, $10 for an small Caesar Salad seemed a bit pricey. However they use excellent ingredients and the service was exceptional, I hoped I could remember the waitress name. I was there with my daughters feb 14th after going to the Mall about 6 pm.

First I’ve tried The Counter is in Saudi Arabia, and it was good. Once I found them here in the Bay Area becomes one of my favorite spots to go too. Their verities in with drinks, burgers, fries gives them a step up any other burger restaurant.
