My husband and I stopped in here for lunch around 1130a. First time eating at this location. My husband had the veggie burrito and I had the lunch fajitas without the rice, beans, and tortillas. Everything was delicious. Everything was reasonably priced.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Anywhere. Hands down. The service is good and the food is always great. Every time I drive near Carmel, In. I stop and eat. They do have a gotcha, they will offer changes without mentioning they will up-charge. For instance, “no queso” earns a response “I can add shredded cheese.” and the bill contains an unmentioned up-charge. Excellent food, though. The building and bathrooms are clean and fixed – and that sometimes says a lot about a place. No one likes stepping on broken tiles and splashing in water from a broken sink like some Mexican restaurants. I was told my reviews will be funnier if beyatch is added at the end. It doesn’t seem funnier, beyatch.

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered a lunch chimi and the thing was way too small for the price. I didn’t look at what the full size costs but I can imagine it is but two or three dollars more. This thing wouldn’t satisfy a small child. No complaints on the taste/quality and service; both were great. Just the portion size.

Time for a deep clean. This location is always busy so I fully undestand how its hard to close it down for a full deep clean. But its definitely time. Carpet is run down, christmas decor up in June, table sticky, and spiderweb in fake plants. Food was okay this time, my Quesadillas were laying in a pool of juice, making them extremely hard to eat as they fell apart. Our cheese dip was lukewarm and had huge chucks in it. Hoping this place gets it together as this was one of our favorites.

Moral of this story never go here on Cinco de Mayo! It was a madhouse! I placed order to go and waited 50 minutes for it. I asked the hostess and she said it was being boxed. Thirty minutes later still waiting and noticed my order was wrong. I complained and they told me that’s the order I gave them. Not true. So not only was the order wrong after waiting 50 minutes and getting a large guacamole when I wanted a small and wanted 3 enchiladas with rice and beans as an entre, but got one with a very small order of rice and beans, but upon arriving home with salsa and large guacamole, I had no chips! This is the third time my order has been messed up. I think I’ll start looking for a new Mexican restaurant.
