If you’re truckin’ across I-80 and you’re craving some fantastic Mexican food, stop off for delicious and authentic food at Los Altos! The Fajita Hawaiiyana, Pollo Poblano, and Pollo Cancun were definite crowd pleasers—sooo good! The whole family was satisfied.

Prompt service, broad menu selection, large portions, reasonably priced. 1st time at this location, previous experience with the location in Story City, Iowa. I had the steak fajitas which were very good (I took 1/2 home), my wife had the vegetable plate and added shrimp to it. The shrimp were large and plump, and there were easily 12-15 shrimp on her order (I didn’t count, but half the order came home). Despite being very busy, our order didn’t take long, and the server was very accommodating to my wife who’s disabled. The restaurant is handicapped accessible, and she was able to navigate easily through the seating area. Very good experience overall, heartily recommend.

Super fast and efficient service. Food was pretty good. We had corn chips and salsa on the table before we’d removed our jackets, and drinks within a few minutes. Food came out in less time than I’ve had to wait for fast food. Definitely recommend and it’s an easy stop if road-tripping along the I-80.
