alright, the food here is good, imma just say that. However, I found a fly in my butter chicken plate. It’s gross sure, but I genuinely don’t think it’s a game ending problem. Just be sure to check your food, because I’m lucky I didn’t swallow the damn fly with how good the food was.

Great food! And the wait wasn’t very long. Being what it is, a quick place to grab lunch on your break, you couldn’t ask for any better. The women there no there way around the kitchen. Also the food you get is the same food they eat themselves, so that speaks for itself…

So glad to find this little gem on our road trip from Columbus, Ohio to Asheville, NC. Not far from our route and worth the little trip through Ashland, KY. Surprised to find the diner inside a gas station. Perfect spot for my husband (he likes traditional American food while I enjoy Indian food. His asked if they could make him a grilled ham and cheese and I enjoyed a plate from the Indian Buffet, spiced so well without being too hot.Food was great and staff/service friendly and attentive. Very affordable, seemed like a local favorite for lunch. The homemade carrot cake was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Kings diner is consistently good. The breakfast is made to order and a great value. Large biscuits with eggs and bacon or whatever you like. The gravy is awesome and homemade.

I love the Indian food here. Momma made a ginger chicken that blew me away! This is a weekly stop for me.

I used to love getting Indian food at this place when they were at the other gas station. When they moved to the new location they stopped carrying all of the Indian side dishes other than rice. I went today and the chicken tikka masala was definitely not as good as usual either – it had basically no seasoning and no spice at all. They used to make it spicy for me by putting in some extra spice but they told me today they didn’t have that any more either. I am so disappointed and I think I will give up on getting Indian food from here now.

If I could rate it zero stars I would. My husband and I ordered the Indian lunch. Tikka masala, butter chicken and rice with naan. I pointed to what I thought was butter chicken and was told it was Tikka masala, and shown the butter chicken. I commented “but it’s yellow, butter chicken isn’t yellow” the worker very rudely tried tell me butter chicken is always yellow. I laughed and hesitantly said ooook. Well. It was how I expected. ZERO taste. Same goes for the masala. It had taste, but not a Tikka masala taste that’s for sure. The owner wasn’t working that day and I’m convinced they made it wrong. The naan was so salty and so much butter, BUTTER! I couldn’t finish the small piece. But just the condescending attitude I was given was ridiculous. I am from Canada. I have eaten in many, many Indian restaurants and have never seen yellow butter chicken lolol.
