I conveniently timed my feedstore run with lunch. The crust and the marinara are the make or break for a pizza, calzone, Stromboli. Good Fellas Warrenton’s choice of ingredients and finesse— created a perfect combination of flavor and texture. Portions are enough to share, though I was grateful I didn’t have to share my dessert! Chocolate Mousse Cake— mmm made me chew slower out of pleasure! I am not a chef or a baker so I may get terms wrong (I’m just a foodie)— it seemed to have like a thin layer of chocolate… like a ganache maybe, a dense cake that wasn’t heavy (how is that even possible?!) with a very light and fluffy chocolate mousse between the layers. OMG. I will be back. The menu is extensive— I recommend checking it out before hand. I saw several other meals and desserts I look forward to trying, next visit.

I’m always skeptical of “Best of” titles as Good Fellas was awarded this past year for the best pizza in Warrenton. Took me a bit to work up the courage to move away from Joe and Vinnies and Spitonys, but I’m glad I tried them out. We had three large pizzas and a gluten-free pizza. All of them were solid, but my absolute favorite was the tandoori pizza. It was spectacular! It’s one of those pizzas that I’ll be craving again in a week.

I was skeptical when this place won the “Best Pizza in Warrenton” award. But, I’ve become a believer. The facility is small with but a few seats and tables. It is more designed for carry out. The service is impeccable and the food comes quickly. There’s a full menu including appetizers and deserts. Try the cannolis! I have to admit, their Chicago Style Meat Lovers Pizza is the best Chicago pizza I’ve had this side of the Appalachians. I’ve been looking for authentic Chicago style pizza for years, hoping to find it wihtout having to drive for 12 hours. Goodfella’s has it! Prices are fair to moderate. They have vegetarian options.

Still trying to figure out why so many 5-star ratings. I mean…my expectations were through the roof! So…my take, way overpriced. What I paid for 4 pies could’ve gotten me 6-7 at other places…sad news is, I actually think Dominoes is better. They have a variety of crusts and really mean a 1-topping pizza means anything. I was not happy to see that this place advertised a 1-topping pizza special…but charged extra for any meat topping. So technically…the special meant cheese and a veggie of your choice, but sausage was extra? Come on…

Best steak n cheese that I have had in a long time ! Hubby loved his spaghetti with meatballs, daughter loved the chicken Caesar wrap , very reasonable priced , Friendly staff , only problem was we didn’t get the side salad that came with the pasta. Kind of my fault for not looking. But really good food so not complaining .
