The fish and chip was disappointing. The fish was very dry and tough, I did not finish it. The prime rib soup was very salty and oily. The server was very nice though. They have pull tab lottery inside the place.

I liked it. We were headed to Larsen Bay, but we had to spend the night in Kodiak because weather prevented our flight to there. Henry’s was recommended for dinner. It was just what we needed after a difficult day of travel. Relaxing atmosphere with a friendly, efficient staff and good food and drink. One of our crew ordered some kind of beef sandwich. Think it would have taken 3 people to eat it all. Biggest I ever remember seeing.

Our waitress Lilly was Very informative of all the different native fish, and dishes. As well as local spots to visit. The owners son/bartender also took the time to inform us great local things to see , and visit. Phenomenal restaurant

The food overall is nothing great, pricey as other reviewers said but hey it’s Alaska, things are imported. Husband had the fettuccine alfredo which looks and tasted more like warm pasta salad. I got the smoked salmon and eh again, nothing great. I’m not entirely sure what happened but our waitress went from checking us on how we’re doing to basically ignoring us at the end. Every time we tried to get her attention she literally turned the other way. We had to play telephone by basically get another waitress to tell her that we would like the check. From their interaction, our waitress points at another couple while the other waitress points to us. When we got our check, we gave her our card and that took a long time as well.
