Customer service was great. I ordered the smothered chicken dinner everything was good except the mac and cheese, the cornbread, and the gravy. The gravy was a little salty. This is my second time trying this restaurant. The first time no complaints.

My first time giving this place a try and I was happy it turned into a real treat. I had some chicken and dumplings as well as some fried chicken with a few sides. Everything was seasoned well and tasted delicious. To top off the good food everyone in there was pleasant and very inviting. The customer service was excellent. This is a definite return visit for me.

The food is really good! I’ve gone there a few times and always was satisfied. Recently, however, I noticed the sides got smaller! Too bad. But, I understand. It’s the signs of the times. Prices go up and the amounts go down! That’s happening everywhere….today. I’m not mad. I just don’t go out to eat much anymore-anywhere. It’s just simply not worth it. I know how businesses operate!

My Mom was told about this place from my Sister. My mother went there and order two dinners for herself and one for me. I was so disappointed just the looks of it didn’t please my taste buds. I should’ve stuck to my inter wishes just by the looks of it. Meatloaf and Dressing plus cornbread with the most tiniest tsp of cranberry sauce! 1. The dressing was way too salty like season salt and had no real taste or smell of dressing what so ever right then I shouldn’t tried the rest but of course I did! 2. Meatloaf was dry as ever and yet salty to the taste buds. Be aware if your dealing with any High-blood Pressure! I’ve read a few others ratings and similar results when it came to the seasonings of they’re Saltiest. My mother had to toss the Greens (Too Salty) A picture of what I chopped through isn’t appealing

Absolutely delicious food and amazing service!! Plump fish fillets and greens seasoned to the T. Baked Mac n cheese is really good and the peach cobbler is superb with the right amount of crust. 10 stars!! Kudos to the cashier..! Hats off to the chef..!!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a while now and I’ve always experienced great service! The people who work here are super friendly and have amazing customer service. My mom introduced me to this place and I am now a regular. The only soul food place in Milwaukee I will return to. I always get the fried chicken dinner with dressing, Mac, and an extra side of sweet potatoes. The food is so good. The one time a side was wrong, they were apologetic and more than happy to correct the order. I always suggest this place to people!

Fried chicken was crispy on the outside and very moist on the inside. Sides are prepared with turkey instead of lard, which I liked. Everyone was super nice. Pictured below: fried chicken plate with green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy and cornbread.
