Love this place. Quick service, friendly staff. Food is so good! Ive had many of their breakfast dishes which are all reasonably priced and you get nice portions for what you pay for. I like the sports atmosphere – therly have all sorts of sports on their many TVs. There’s a bar as well as a dining area and it’s goos for families as well. This last time I had the bacon burger – so juicy and cooked medium – exactly how i like it!! Fresh veggies too and it was BIG. Delicious Fries too! Highly recommend!

We stopped in for breakfast and it was a good, solid choice. My wife had bacon and eggs, and I had an omlet. Both were delicious, and a good amount of food for the price. The bacon was nice and thick, and the sourdough toast was also very good. The service was very good, and the atmosphere was what you would expect from a sports bar. They had a World Cup match on, which was a nice bonus. Overall, this restaurant has a good breakfast at a reasonable price. I would definitely go there again!

I recently visit zim’s after a long day at work out side and was blown away by the delicious food and exceptional service. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make I felt welcome. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I asked the bartender be hind the bar just make me some thing refreshing and she made a drink the was both crisp and refreshing. I love it

The food is absolutely delicious! I love the quality of the food and never have a bad experience with it. However, the service ALWAYS slacks. When we ( family & friends) want to go out to eat and zimms is brought up it’s followed by “well, can we wait? They service is always slow”. It’s a disappointing statement to make 🙁

We stopped in for breakfast on Memorial Day. We are not military, however they were offering free breakfast or free lunch from a special menu for Veterans which I thought was a nice gesture. My husband had the Big Brau Haus omelet and I had a 2 egg, 2 bacon, hashbrowns and toast order. He also had the Bloody Mary which was decent. Overall a nice sports bar/pub with reasonable pricing that is worth checking out.

We were staying overnight in The Dalles and decided to try Zim’s. The food was delicious! We had the schnitzel with spaetzle and fresh vegetables. It was a treat to have fresh vegetables after being on the road for many days. We also highly recommend the caramel apple pie and ice cream! We sat in the back patio area while others enjoyed the live music inside.

Excellent place, on wednesday they ja e Tacos and the BEST biggest deepfried shell taco salad I’ve ever had, It had a lot of everything to include hamburger, jalapeños lettuce,tomamos, olives, salsa, sourcream chz. Carros shards green n red onion, redriend beans etc… it’s a very busy place but we still got great service. $8.00

Do not bother. Beer price was not listed in any way!! Came to watch a game and got dinner to go afterwards. We waited for 10 min to be seated while the staff ignored us. Once seated, another 10 min passed before our order was taken. During the three hours we were there, a server only visited us three times. Our server had to be constantly reminded to check on us or pour our beers by other staff members. At the end of the night we ordered a meal to go and got the check. We were not given happy hour price and our food was left forgotten under the heat lamp for about 20 min.
