IT’S ALWAYS SUMTHIN
So this is coming from someone who’s a picky eater especially with catfish. First thing I want to note is that my order came up to 24.95. While I was waiting for my order I checked charges on my card bc I didn’t receive a receipt and was charged 29.16 so I guess they tip themselves even though they had a tip jar and on the jar it says tips are appreciated but not required. The Mac n cheese looked like it was going to taste good but it was actually curdled. Fish looked good and was seasoned ok but was crispy on outside n mushy on the inside. I asked for tarter sauce and was given tarter sauce pre made in packets but one small cup of house sauce. My taste buds didn’t like it but I don’t like Buffalo sauce either so you might but I didn’t. I don’t have complaints about the okra but I’m disappointed and won’t be returning but the service was wonderful the owner is a nice guy, the food just didn’t do it for me.

Looking for catfish and this place came up on google. Being a first visit I wanted a nice sampling, so I ordered fish, wings, some sides and their house kool-aid concoctions. I was pleased with all of it and will be returning. Also Rod and Tiffani are very sweet and patient when ordering. Also, everything is made fresh when ordered!

Food was made to order so it was hot and fresh and full of flavor. The desserts were absolutely amazing. Even though it’s cold I still enjoyed a good snow cone. They had some really good flavors to choose from. All around great place to eat. Definitely going to see me again.

The food is magical! The fish is REAL AMERICAN catfish. They season to perfection. Everything on the menu is amazing. The burgers are amazing and as big as my head (my head is big y’all)! 10 out of 10! The service is amazing and please tip the Cashier because she is beautiful inside and out! I will be back!

I tried this place out for the first time and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the 2 piece catfish and fries with a strawberry cake. This is REAL catfish!! Everything was seasoned so well especially the fries. Also, the customer service was amazing! In the words of their slogan, I’ll see you tomorrow:)

First time visit, did not disappoint! Ordered the cheeseburger basket. This cheeseburger was made with love! Hands down the best burger I’ve had in a long time. The fries are soo delicious! They were fresh along with the burger. Crunchy on the top layer and had a delicious seasoning. I also ordered two drinks. Swamp drink I believe and red river. The red river drink went perfect with the food! Oh and lemon cake… that was also delicious. Will be back for more! But most importantly great customer service very nice first visit.

I ain’t gone lie. I was a skeptic. 5 stars, really? Almost nowhere has 5 stars. But I was pleasantly surprised. They are very friendly. The food was ready in about 15 minutes, which is very quick for food that tastes homemade. I have had catfish all over the metroplex. This is legit catfish and it tastes great. The chicken is also good. I love the motto, “see you tomorrow”. I definitely have a new fish spot.

My first time trying Rods catfish. It is by far the best that I have had. The shrimp and catfish very fresh. I will make this my permanent spot for fish. I thought my fish was good. Take a chance and try them out.

Was from out of town and he let us dine in… which was so nice of him food was good and customer service was good… But that lemon cake OMG!!!!! FOOD WAS SO HOT HAD TO BLOWN IT TO EAT… never been somewhere we’re I could not eat my food because it was hot lol… love it.. will be back
