Breakfast had generous portions. Flavor was enjoyable but muted. Their potatoes would be better with a little char, and I felt the need to add salt to everything. All in all, worth the stop on the way to Mt. Monadnock.

This restaurant advertises itself as real — and it is the real deal. The food is fresh, most everything is homemade, the coffee is fantastic — the best I have found in the area. It is named after a family dog that they once had that made everyone feel welcome, and they are trying to create that sense of welcome… which they have done very successfully. What struck me is how clean and new the place is even though the building has been around a long time. A new owner rebooted it in 2016. Highly recommended. Wifi, a great counter, booths and tables, and a high coffee shop type counter.

Great food, great service They were happy to accommodate my wife’s gluten free needs. They aced the well done (home made) Onion Rings. I had the Monte Christo- one of the best I’ve had- delivered with real maple syrup.

We we’re on our return to Maine while visiting our son, daughter-in_law and granddaughter when we wanted to go to brunch. After googling we chose Oliver’s. Excellent service and delicious food. We left full and had a short visit with the owner. Highly recommend and we’ll all be back.

Delicious food! Awesome service! Olivers has a ‘ small town personality’ meaning each customer is treated like a friend. And If you’re not a friend when you arrive, you will be when you leave. Just drive by. The parking lot is always full. That says it all.

I haven’t had a monte cristo in years, but they had it on the menu and I ordered it. Tara the waitress was great and the food was very good. The owner came out and talked with me and he was really great also. I will definitely go back.
