Went with a small group and truthfully was not sure what to expect. But wow, the food there was incredible. I had the Gyūdon with a bowl of clear onion soup, salad, and an order of Iwataya rolls. Everyone enjoyed their food and loved the grocery store right next door. I will definitely be going back.

Traditional Japanese food that is by far the best in Evansville. I went with several students from Japan and they very much enjoyed the food. Beautiful interior that makes you feel like you are in a small town in Japan! Will be going here again in the future!

Webiste doesnt state they are to go only and they dont answer the phone during work hours. In addition, i walked into the restaurant and recieved absolutely no response even though the bell goes off at the door. Just completely ignored.

The restaurant is owned by real Japanese people. Best sushi I have ever had! It came out fresh and tasted amazing. When you walk into the restaurant it’s eye catching decor will make you realize you’ve selected the right place to eat. They were full of patrons tonight so service was a bit slower but they also took care to make the sushi to perfection! My drink was always refilled before I ran dry. Overall it’s an experience you have to try once!

Very delicious, very authentic, and surprisingly very affordable. For how good their sushi is, the prices are insanely low. They have a sushi menu that you can order take-out from as well. Their restaurant also includes a holistic sitting area in the middle that seems to be part of Japanese culture where you are not allowed to wear shoes and you have to be peaceful. It is a very neat thing to see.
