I’ve passed by this place 100times and has been on my list of places to try for a long time. I finally had the opportunity to give it a whirl and I was not disappointed. My only issue was that I wasn’t that hungry and only tried the tacos. Two pastor and two chorizo. DELICIOUS!!! Can’t wait to bring the wife here. Might be on my list of “Go to” spots.

I am from out of town and my cousin, who lives in Citrus Heights, says she always comes here for the Menudo. I loved the hole-in-the-wall vibe and it seemed easy to get to as well as having a nice area to park.

Fresh and clean. The back area looks very well kept and the vegetables look and taste fresh. I am highly impressed by the crispy taco and regular taco. Carnitias is cooked perfectly! Tacos between $3-$5 each

Best hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant in Fair Oaks! I’ve dined in there three times, and I haven’t been disappointed any of those times. They make a great burrito, their salsas (and chips) are tasty, and the women staffing the front counter are very welcoming and friendly. Their prices are competitive too. I just moved back to Riverside County a couple weeks ago, and right before I did, I made it a point to eat there one last time.

The food and service here are great, but my favorite thing about visiting Los Gordos is the community. The staff has a loyal clientele. It’s like everyone is just popping over to their friend’s kitchen for a bite to eat and a chin wag.

Food was stupendous, El Pastor was so good I went back for 3 more tacos on top of the 3 enchilada plate and 2 tacos I already had. Customer service was awesome as well.

I had the fish taco plate and it looks pretty yummy but the problem is the entire plate has barely any seasoning and taste really plain. The fish is super soft and also had no real taste to it and I couldn’t even tell it was fish. The other plates might be good but based off the fish taco plate i can’t say I was impressed.
