Driving home to greenbay and sitting at the stop light and just pulled in on a whim. Love the atmosphere of the place, old rustic, somewhere on a cold snowy night I’d love to be drinking a heavy beer! We ordered the pretzel with beer cheese as an app and shared the dotty as our main coarse. The beer cheese was probably the best beer cheese we have ever had! I could drink it if I could!! Pretzel was hot, soft and salted just right. The dotty was just as you would exspect, nothing special or exciting but still really really good. If your in the area and see this place it’s a must stop!

The food is always fantastic. The server was very friendly and funny. She made the experience a lot of fun. My only hesitation with 5 stars is the amount of time we waited before our order was taken. We were 1 of 2 tables and we waited quite a while. Other than that I love to eat here and highly recommend stopping in for a meal if ever in the area !

I arranged dinner for a group of 25 professionals in town for a training. Mabel’s was awesome about communicating in advance and meeting our group’s needs. While I personally didn’t get to enjoy the food, I heard that everyone had a great time! If I ever make it to Fergus Falls, I plan to try it out!

My wife and I ate here last night, and our experience was kinda mixed. First of all, if you go into this place knowing what you’re going to get (like we did) you’ll enjoy yourself a lot more. I don’t know the history of the building, but it appears to be an old house that was transformed into a restaurant; at least that’s what it appeared to be. Second, this place is not handicap friendly; I had to pull my wife’s wheelchair up a couple of stairs to get to the bathrooms, and even then the stalls aren’t wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair.

Have been here two times and loved it. The food is absolutely fantastic and the service is even better. Have only been there for lunch in the pub but the dining area is unbelievable. It looks like it would be a great place for a group event. If you are anywhere near Fergus Falls you need to check out this place. Pub opens at 11am and the dining rooms open at 4pm.

Waited almost an hour for a special and a petite sirloin before waitress came and told us steak was just going on the grill. I know things can get busy and take awhile but I also know prime rib, the special, is already prepared. It only takes a few minutes to make a steak as well. Very disappointed ended up leaving before we were served. Will not return.

It was a nice place across from the Walmart where I was staying the night.

I rarely give 5 stars, but Mabel’s is well worth them. The food was exceptional, the service impeccable, and it provided a nice atmosphere. I will absolutely be going back. The ribs, while not the best I’ve had, are not far from them. The size of the rack is excellent with loads of meat. The fettuccine is absolutely the best ever and goes well with the ribs.

Nice place, especially for this area. Unfortunately we needed to repeat ourselves multiple times to the waitress to get an order in.
