A gem in a center city , This place is an authentic pho place that offers a variety of banh mi Broken rice platter beef noodle soup and Bun .

We visited Philly for the first time, and Pho Mi Rittenhouse was one of three restaurants we picked to eat at while here. While I didn’t do enough research to realize this place has only 4 bar stools for dining in, that didn’t phase us too much when we arrived, and opted to order our pho to go. They prepared our food fast and we were out of there in 10 minutes! Even to go, the portions are huge and well worth the price, with plenty of toppings included to add as you wish. Plus, they even give you a little pho spoon along with the chopsticks so you can enjoy the broth! I had the vegetarian tofu pho chay and it was simply perfect. So glad we found this place and would love to go back if we ever return to Philly.

Just four high stools along a high bench. That’s it for dine in. Authentic hole-in-the-wall vibe. Charming in a way I can’t yet put into words. Sip pho and watch throngs of office shirts and pencil skirts flow by in search of their own power bite.

Hole in the wall joint with really good tofu banh mi. The bread was nice and crispy, the stuffing generous, and the flavors fulfilling. Also tried the summer rolls that were excellent. The staff were very friendly and there’s some space to sit and eat but would be typically more suitable for take out. Would recommend stopping by if you’re in the neighborhood hoping to grab an affordable bite.

Now this? This is what I call Pho. It might literally be a hole in the wall but oh my is this one of the most delicious bowls of soup I have ever had in my life. Pho Mi Rittenhouse might be the best thing about this city.

A very cute and quaint Vietnamese restaurant! I got the shrimp summer rolls and Pho Tai and both were very tasty! Good prices, can’t wait to go back and try more things. Staff was super friendly and attentive! Extra fun to sit at the lil bar in front of the window and people watch!

Admittedly a bold claim in Philly, but I’m pretty sure this was the best banh mi I’ve ever had. I had the pork – a nice portion, flavorful and juicy, balanced by the crispy-on-the-outside bread and fresh, bright veggies. A+

This has quickly become my go-to restaurant and I do not get bored of it. Just take a look at the pictures of the food here, they give almost literaly mountains of food for a very reasonable price, it is tastey, I live the no BS atmosphere, and you get to know the owner over time and he is hard working, passionate and cares a lot about the restaurant. If you take anything away from this review just focus on the pictures of the food I took 😉

Pho Ga is not authentic. It is just pho with beef broth and chunks of flavorless white meat chicken. Disappointing as Pho Ga is quite different from Beef Pho.

Pho-king brilliant! A ton of food for super reasonable prices, and some of the best pho I’ve ever had. The meat was allowed to slowly cook in the broth, giving it a wonderful texture and flavour. The owner was really friendly and kind, trying his best to accommodate us and making us feel welcome. 12/10 would recommend, and will definitely be back!
