We had the BBQ sampler and thought it was really good and a great value for the price. It’s a truck on the side of the road so if your looking a sit down restaurant, this isn’t it, but sitting at a picnic table on a beautiful afternoon with a great meal is like a dream come true. They’re open at 11 and are there till they run out,we were there @3pm and were out of chicken… so get there early.

I wanted to love this place but I didn’t care for the execution. In ordered fatty brisket, which was right on the money fat wise — but had no bark, and no smoke flavor or ring whatsoever. It was unfortunately pretty flavorless. Also ordered ribs — they had a strangely sugary-crunchy crust on them from their dry rub. Far too much sugar, and too little other seasonings in the rub.

Pulled pork is excellent, and the roll and original BBQ sauce made it even better. Mac and cheese is a MUST – the creamiest I’ve ever had! Brisket is also tasty. Friendly service. Can’t beat this local experience.

The ribs and brisket were on point. I’ve had lots of Texas barbecue and I’m always searching for something comparable but it’s tough to find. This place satisfied the urge though. Brisket was tender, juicy, smokey, salty, delicious. Staff was super nice and prices totally reasonable for the quality. Would come back.
