Delivery driver was late, they told me 40 min, it was 1 hour and 20. When I called to see what was the delay the girl said the delivery guy had to gas(don’t u get gas prior??) but he told me different when he arrived. Food was cold. Food was bland. Food didn’t taste chinese. Fried rice plain nothing added but soy flavoring? ? Food portions were small for their $9.95 dinner combination, spring roll that came with it was dried up & greasy not to mention TINY?! Minimum order I was told $25 …spent $35. Total on meal including tip, I’m disappointed and won’t order from here again and it was my first time ordering.

I searched quite a while for a quality, gourmet Chinese restaurant in North Tampa since Ho Ho’s closed a couple years ago. This place is FANTASTIC! Since discovering it in April, I have eaten there at least twice a week. The service is fast, the portions are big, and the food tastes incredible. Contrary to what another reviewer wrote, this place is actually great for Vegetarians!

Wow, Since New Beijing came under new ownership, it is truly a new restaurant and experience. The food is truly good and it is well worth the money. The Shrimp with Garlic Sauce is perfect, and the Wonton Soup is the best I have tasted in Tampa. I am happy to take the extra 5 minutes to get my food from New Beijing as opposed to their competition for the better quality food. Oh did I mention the service, the staff are amazing and kind, they are all the nicest people, especially the new owner Angel. If your looking for great chinese at reasonable prices then New Beijing is the place for you.

We LOVE this place!! Angel and Fred are two of the the sweetest people around. We can not get enough of the chicken and broccoli with brown sauce- you have to request brown sauce, otherwise it is white sauce- mix it with the fried rice and it is delish!!

Food is not impressive for Chinese. They can only fool Americans. Service is the WORST I ever receive in this country! Brought their ad that did not explain clearly what customer can get. Charging extra $1.5 is not a big deal, but the owner, an old Chinese man, is very RUDE, yelling at me, “Stop it!” Of course, I wanted to stop talking to him as well because he has very bad breath! No wonder no Asian shows up there. I learn my lesson.

This is a very fancy restaurant. They have their own website and you can place your order online. That is new feature and very convenient for customers. Plus, the food is very delicious and the price is cheap. A good deal for working classes. I would say this is the best restaurant in the local area.

Every time I go I always experience the most quality amazing food! They have the BEST Pad Thai and Fried Rice. Sometimes I travel an hour from where I live now just to have it.

Terrible for vegetarians – went for the first time and asked for veg options. Was given a few choices so we asked about oyster sauce in the dishes – was told they didn’t use it in anything. Obvious lie in an asian restaurant and meant that the server didn’t know their menu. She told us about a few things that, in her words, “vegetarians pick here all of the time.” Picked something for each of us and she came back with, “Oh, actually that *does* have oyster sauce in it.” Then we picked a tofu mei fun and veg fried rice as I thought the fried rice and noodles would be safe but asked her to check with the cook just in case. Then she came back with, “Oh, sorry, but all of our dishes have oyster sauce in them.” and just stared at us. She said it wasn’t an option to have anything without oyster sauce, so we got up and left – I told her that this was a big problem but didn’t get upset and say anything else. It wasn’t until I got to the car and thought about it a little more that I got angry – so they’ve not only been serving vegetarians oyster sauce without them knowing, but also people with shellfish allergies who are pretty sensitive? We’ve been to plenty of asian restaurants as vegetarians and the staff has almost all of the time known the menu well along with what dishes have non-veg ingredients that to some people would be somewhat hidden – and they’ve given us options in terms of what they could do including substitutions when needed or, in a lot of cases, let us know which dishes they couldn’t do anything with because of the ingredients – which is fine.

Asian food. We come here at least 3 times a month and it’s typically good.UPDATE 11/20/11. Must have new owners or staff, food has gone downhill and portions have gotten much smaller. Not going back.

For just average food, these folks have a BIG opinion of themselves! They just raised their prices 30%+!!! I’ve paid less for better food in SF or NY. Stay away, and new management should be in place in less than 6 months!
