Been a favorite of mine for literally years. I was actually able to get crab legs today! Worth a trip to a quaint place. It’s on a dock. Never had a problem here ♥️. Oh, it’s outside dining only. It’s usually breezy and they have fans on the ceiling.

Such a great find! We stumbled upon while driving through on vacation, and absolutely loved it! Our waiter (name escaping me!) was incredible, and when the blender broke making my daughter a frozen drink, he surprised her a bit later after fixing it, which but a HUGE smile on her face! Such a welcoming atmosphere, everything was great! Will definitely make it a point to go back next time we are in Florida!

A nice quaint local, come as you are, restaurant. Mostly outdoor seating, even indoor is almost outdoor. Overhead fans aren’t all working so it can get quite hot and stuffy. Order coconut shrimp, fish tacos, garlic seared shrimp and kids shrimp. The fish tacos and garlic shrimp were very tasty and full of flavor, the coconut shrimp had great flavor however the breading was a little thick for my liking. The kids shrimp was good but I thought it could had had more than 4 shrimp.

Let’s start with the view. Absolutely beautiful at sunset. The food and service go hand in hand. We were greeted and seated like the severs had known us for years. So welcoming and kind. The food was delicious. The portions for the price are great. I had to take some of my fried shrimp and fish to go. I’d say this is a great place to go with friends and family!

The Boondocks is a brilliant restaurant. I loved it. The wait staff was incredibly kind, probably some of the nicest I’ve ever encountered. The food itself was very delicious and I highly recommend their garlic bread! The atmosphere was great and as you can see it was really fun watching the birds wander around. After you finish eating you can throw any leftover food into the ocean and watch the fish gobble it up. It’s a fun and unique experience. Check out the Boondocks!

Not only is the most beautiful view available here but the food is amazing and the drinks are amazing and you’re definitely getting good service because everybody works together here to ensure that each customer gets treated right. It was a very clean restaurant with some locals popping in to say hello like the big bird I was able to take a picture of that stopped and stopped by my table and just hung out…. Or the pools of catfish going crazy over crumbs. What an amazing afternoon I will definitely be back.

Went with family and we all had a great meal, and a great time. Friendly fast service. I think we all had fish, many different types to choose from. They always have a fish of the day, today was trigger fish. We had it two ways, blackened and fried…both were tasty choices. Fried platter also had a lot on it, plenty for 2 people to share.

Boondocks is off the beaten path, outdoor casual dining right on the water. Very Cool seaside shanty and tiki-bar atmosphere. Super attentive and friendly staff, everyone helps each other. Super tasty selection of homemade seafood and other fare. There actually is a nice wraparound tiki-bar with a fine selection of drinks and usually a daily special.

The host warned us that it would get buggy. Soon after small lil bugs began to bite. Bring bug spray but if you don’t have it the nice friendly waiter will give you some. The food was good. Loved the view. While we waited the kids feed all the fish in water.
