I wish I had taken my phone in with me….. for a sandwich shop anywhere the food was amazing. Quite a surprise for Elko Nevada. The menu was quite overwhelming, so for my first time standing at the counter, I felt rushed to make a decision. The decision I made, however, I am very happy with. I had the Italian sandwich. Very full of complex flavors and textures that worked very well together. The 3 others in my party has the tri tip sandwich. My wife said her meat was a little dry but had good flavor. Great place will definitely go again.

At the Elko Convention and Conference Center. National Cowboy Poetry Gathering location had a limited menu. Sold out of Solomo Sandwich so it must have been really good. I ordered the Tri-Tip Nevada after seeing husband’s Basque Tri-Tip: “House roasted tri-tip, Basque cheese, piperade and paprika aioli – grilled on a fresh French roll” when I thought it might be too spicy for me. Loved the grilled onions on mine so it was the right choice. His combo came with a cookie that was delicious. Saw many people with desserts and all of them looked delicious.
