4.5 I really enjoyed the overall experience. The atmosphere is fun, like a Florida crab shack in a NY strip mall. The waiter was really nice, helped me with my annoying food allergies, and checked on us often. The food is good, not 5 star, but decent. Really loved the spicy fried cheese curds and lemon pepper shrimp. The snow crab and hush puppies were good. They also give you free shrimp crisps for the table. The price is pretty good too! I’ll definitely go back.

First time at Tasty Crab House. It was all right, but I would stop way short of saying it was amazing. For some reason the whole place is covered in graffiti and personally, I don’t find that very attractive. I wasn’t crazy about all the disposable aspects of this restaurant either. Paper plates, plastic cutlery, the food is served in double plastic bags and you are giving plastic bibs and gloves. Instead of all that, it would make a lot of sense to me if the bathrooms were touch free, so you can just walk in there and wash your hands without having to touch anything. All of the seafood was good, I was not crazy about the sauce and I definitely would not order a combo including sausage again. Also, the hours on the menu differ from what is stated here, when in doubt, call ahead.

This was pretty good for a seafood place in New York. The catfish could’ve used more seasoning, but I was good. It’s pretty cool that you pick the kind of seasoning you want, whether you have catfish, fries, or crab legs. Alot of food for the price.

Went in for lunch right after opening time. We were seated then about 5 minutes later was asked what we wanted to drink. A few minutes passed then our water was brought out. We placed our order. The water tasted terrible so I was going to ask for something else when the order came. After waiting 30 minutes or more, no one returned. We looked around and no one had been served and no employees were to be found. So we left. Very odd place. No stars.

The inside is very spacious-you can write on the walls! Friendly staff. Food is delicious. Nice sized menu, not too crazy…a bit confusing at first but it all made sense. We did wait awhile for our food. When the food came out, each order was individually wrapped in plastic bags?? I wasn’t a fan of that.

It’s actually sad how gross this place is. Referring to the cleanliness and ethics. Waitress added things to the order we never got, never filled us in on any prices, and avoided us the entire night after she knew she messed up. $150 meal of garbage, after our lovely 10% off for not receiving the food we ordered. Were not even given the option of dessert because she never came back, lol. I used to take people here, we no longer be coming for the mere fact that it’s flat out disgusting and nothing but a seafood grift. P a t h e t i c.
