I got the legend with onion rings. the food here is AMAZING!!!!! wish I lived close to here. been so long since I could find bbq this good been. portions are huge compared to the other places I have been going to also. had to get more to go.

This place is a good spot in Mcgregor for some good BBQ. The menu is great take on a traditional BBQ menu. Pushing the limits on what a BBQ Restaurant is known for and I give them a lot of props for serving what they do here! Takes a lot to venture outside the box.

Tried the local bbq joint. Coach’s BBQ. Probably better to eat at than for carryout. Had better in Waco. Online menu out of date and did not get my sausages. Will try again but actually eat there at a meal time instead of at 2:45. Good Turkey and Pulled Pork. Brisket average at best, good smoke but too lean. Almost looked like ribeye from the fat in the middle of the slice. Mac & Cheese good. Green beans not. Skip the deserts, nothing special.

Every time I have ordered here in the last year, there is something missing or wrong with my order. Never have the bbq sauce I ask for, or the PPO on the side. Personnel on the phone had an arrogant attitude like I was a jerk for even placing an order. When I got home with my order (still missing PPO sides and BBQ sauce), I found a hair in my food. Probably because the immature staff that works there. Some training or hiring expertise needs to be put in place. Food would be (and has been) good if it was prepared and organized by better staff.

I tell ya what, this is the classic bbq joint! Rustic look, friendly people combined with good food. The aroma of the pit with the sound of chefs, cooks workin away in the back. I had the, fall off the bone ribs-literally. And the salad was my personal favorite. Not just boring iceberg lettuce. Plus the green beans hot and seasoned perfectly. People dining inside and out…been awhile since I was here last

Place was absolutely fantastic. They do catfish Friday specials, however I went on a Saturday. They still were able to whip a huge batch of fried catfish for me and it was some of the best catfish I have had. Awesome atmosphere, awesome people. I highly recommend.
