Kind of a little hole in the wall, directly attached to the Inn. The salsa was spicy and well flavored, the cheese dip was very good but I found the chips strange, almost like they were some kind of specialty quinoa/black bean chip but to me it didn’t work and plain corn chips would be infinitely better. The chicken enchiladas were AMAZING. Great enchilada sauce. Taco was okay, rice and beans were pretty typical but the beans were spicy which I personally loved. Don’t avoid this place, but be prepared for the strangeness of the chips.

Finally we have some real Mexican food in Manteo! Very authentic, super clean and comfy. Excellent chips and salsa. Awesome carne asada in the beef dishes (no ground beef here!). My new favorite place!

This was a very good stop after visiting the Elizabethian gardens. My whole family enjoyed every single thing they ate. The food seemed very authentic, and the staff was so friendly! Do yourself a favor and try the horchata, it’s really good. I don’t usually review restraunts, but this was overall a great experience!

Authentic style tacos in a no frills atmosphere. I would have liked to see some combo plates like tacos with sides included but the carnitas were very good.
