Sashimi salmon and fried rice was great. My husband liked his hibachi, which was from the kitchen and not the grill. So I don’t know how the grill version is. Usually it’s different than kitchen at most places. Super nice staff. Super cool atmosphere. Bonus points for serving Pepsi, which is harder to come by where we’re from.

I read some of these reviews before we went and thought “well there are way more good than bad”, well we experienced bad. The food was fine when we finally got it, had one persons food come out 30 minutes later than everyone else’s. Couldn’t get the waitress to refill the drinks because we only saw her a handful of times, the girl bussing tables would go get her so she could come refill our drinks. It is also very dark with blue lights so your food does not look good. We are a family of 6 and we were at our table for over 2 hours. Would not recommend.

The food was really great but the bugs we squashed under the table were not. We did tell our server about the insects but she didn’t seem concerned (like she already knew they had a problem maybe.) She was very nice with recommendations, but very inexperienced and everyone’s food came out at different times.

Always delicious food & great service! The atmosphere is awesome – very unique. I have been there manyyy times but last night we had the Gangnum Style & Crazy Samurai rolls & they were both amazing! Great place for a chill dinner & yummy sushi.

First, it took 20 minutes for our waitress to approach our table after we were seated, so I went ahead order soup and edamame with the initial drink order because things started out rough. The drinks came out about 5 minutes later, then the soup about 5 minutes after that. We thought the edamame order had been forgotten when the waitress came out to take our food order. (We’ve been in the place for over 30 minutes-keep this in kind) We place our sushi order: a 5-piece tuna side for my wife and 3 different sushi rolls for me and the kids. 10 minutes after this order the edamame arrives. After some time, my wifes tuna arrives…nothing else, just her 5-piece tuna. She waits for the rest of us to be served. Next my daughter’s roll comes out about 10 minutes after the wife’s order. Then another 10-minute wait for my son’s sushi roll. The sushi chef came over and asked how was everything and I just looked at him. I waited 5 more minutes and got up and told the waitress to bring over the check and cancel my sushi roll order as everyone at the table had already been served and was finishing up. When she finally brought the ticket I said to her “you know we’ve been here for over an hour now?” She actually argued with me saying “no you’ve only been here for 30 minutes. I repeated “we’ve been sitting at this table for over an hour. She then argued “well I took your order only 30 minutes ago.” Okay, here’s my point: they think it is acceptable for it to take 30 minutes to make 3 rolls and a 5-piece tuna side. Possible factors that caused the delay: sushi chef laughing and visiting with other staff. Chef visiting with new customers that sat at the sushi bar. Chef getting on telephone to laugh it up with whoever called. Sushi chef leaving the prep station during the meal prep (I just hope he washed his hands) other details: there were only 2 tables occupied when we arrived and one of them left as we were sitting down. Then only 1 couple came in and sat at the sushi bar. So, the place wasnt crowded and the chef wasn’t slammed. The chef was nice enough to yell across the restaurant “sorry I didnt make it all at the same time!” That was a nice touch. I’m a Hot Springs native and I’ll never return. I will also steer any friends clear of this establishment.

The food was amazing and so was Patrick and the rest of the staff. Even got to listen to some karaoke while we were there. My wife and I had a great time and can’t wait to go back if we’re ever in town.

My wife and I were referred by a local and they did not disappoint! Sushi was very good and the stuffed jalapeños were amazing! The atmosphere is a taste of Japan’s night life. 100% recommend.
