I have been here a couple times most recently last week. We went on the 4th of July for dinner. We got oysters the poke bowl and the trout. The oysters were decent but nothing to rave about. I have had oysters there before and they were better the last time. We did speak to the owner about it and he mentioned they were having some troubles getting the ones that they wanted in which is understandable all things considered. The poke bowl was decent in the trout was really good although the portion size with the meal could have been a little bit larger as I was still hungry. I ordered a glass of red wine initially I tried the Shiraz which tasted flat and watery and then went with the house Cabernet I believe which was just okay. Our service was great and the view was great they were only a couple tables in there so it wasn’t super busy which was nice.

It was just okay. The corn dip was super watery and lacked flavor…which applied to most of the food we had that night. The pretzel was the best item we had all night. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was made from frozen chicken & the burger was pretty flavorless. The drinks were expensive and not the greatest. Our server was nice & the ambiance of the restaurant was cool. We just weren’t impressed with the food for the price.

One would assume that a restaurant by the river, would be worth the expense, and usually I would agree. However, what was so easy of a place to get a good review, ended up lack luster. The quality of the food, which I would compare to my time at a community college, and in fact, it reminded me so much of it I ended up having a lengthy conversation reminiscing – but not about the good quality food. It’s seriously below average, and the only thing keeping it from going any lower is the amazing and beautiful location, and the fact that their food was actually edible. Not singing praises for sure, but for their price point, and the quality of their service I would steer clear and go to one of the other nearby restaurants. Even the corn dog stand right next to it, would be a better choice.

Sushi rice is was very sticky. Shrimp looked to be from frozen bag from meijer. $100+ for two people. Rated 2 stars for over priced. Was very hopeful as Grand Haven doesn’t have a good seafood spot…. That hasn’t changed

Absolutely Absolutely Absolutely horrible service and food. I never ever leave a review. But that was just horrible, manager was so rude which was the worst part. They kept the food in the back waiting for a few sushi rolls. So all the food was really really cold, rice was really dry. Once food came out we had to ask for silverware. They tried to discount or food but had things that we never received. Sorry but just a horrible experience for a 2 hour wait.

Great atmosphere for any occasion. Awesome service and delicious food with a side of wine. Treat yourself to this fine dining experience. Right on the river so plan your romantic date for sunset riverside. With ambient music is playing compositional music of popular songs we all know. Enjoy!!

I had a private party where the food was expensive and some of the worst I have had for a party. The spinach and artichoke dip was served without anything to eat it with. So naturally no one eat any and when you asked for it to be removed from the bill they would only take half off. It was $60.00. The small vegetable tray and fruit were very small but cost alot. But what really got upsetting was the melon was not editable. The cantaloupe was as hard as a rock and tasteless and the honeydew had been cut in such a way that the rind was still on. When I got it home I just threw it away.The one sushi roll that I tried was stale. The vegetables were to be served with hummus and that was not brought out until everyone had eaten. The final insult was I asked for my husband favorite Mexican pinwheels to be made with cream cheese and salsa and instead they were prepared with refried beans which he hates. The bill was $493.00 for the food and $750.00 for room rental.
