I recently visited this restaurant for the first time since its transition from Noboru, and I was delighted by the pleasant modern decor and the attentiveness of the servers. The experience exceeded my expectations with regards to the sushi offerings. The variety available was impressive, and I was genuinely pleased with the selection during our dinner visit.

We went for lunch, $17.99+tax, soft drinks included. The overall experience was pretty good. The selections for sushi and cold dishes are decent. The quality of sushi is definitely better than average Chinese buffet. The hot section is lacking. I do see they have roast duck but I didn’t try. Steak and shrimp hibachi was not bad. Since I’m more of a protein eater, the price seemed reasonable to me.

So I went to try this place out due to their grand opening, and the first impression left a bad taste in my mouth being asked to pay up front. Even places in Philadelphia that deal with dining and dashing all the time don’t do this, and it shows a lack of trust, and you TIP up front.

The seafood and sushi bars were great! The hot food bar is where this place is lacking, as it was kinda on the cold side, definitely need to turn up the heat and also add more vegetable options, as it was mostly meat options. Service was very friendly, constantly checked on us, and brought us numerous refills. We will be returning if they add more vegetable options and turn up the heat on the hot food bar!

Food selection is not good, and neither is the flavor. Hot food is cold, cold food is room temperature. I would not recommend it. It’s not worth it for the price.
