The food was amazing. The hummus was excellent. And the Casa beer paired well with the Shawarma Beef Sandwich. If booked in advance, they have shows on Saturdays. Can get fully booked. The service from Hicham is excellent. Have a great Moroccan time!

First of all, the Hookah bar is separate and next door. Getting that out of the way, the Emerald Restaurant is a very wonderful, family friendly place. The ambience which includes the decor and music made me feel that I am in Morocco (even though I have never been). The Mediterranean cuisine was amazing. I have tried Mediterranean cuisine in different parts of the US including DC and New York. None of those restaurants could stand next to this place. This food, again, was simply amazing. Well, regarding the service….. it could not get any better. Granted it was not super busy when we were there and the staff was minimal, but the service was above par making us feel Presidential.

So I was staying in Orlando’s downtown and craving for some Mediterranean food. First of all when I entered the place the music was too loud for my liking. Then I had to wait for maybe more than 30 mins for the kabob. The kabob was burnt, dry and far from being tender, which is what kabob is supposed to be! They tried to make up for all the unprofessionalism and incompetency by providing free baklava and a 10% discount for my next order at their restaurant, which is never going to happen. I’d recommend staying away if you are looking for quality Mediterranean food in Orlando. Gave two stars for the ok environment, courteous waitress, and good tea.

Hubby and I got there around 530-545pm. We ordered 2 Gyros with fries, came to 22$ gyros were absolutely delicious. I wish they put the Taziki sauce in the gyro instead of on the side… maybe that’s bcuz we ordered and picked up our food. We had just left Aquatica and wanted gyros which is why we didn’t eat inside. Hubby went in and grabbed the food and he said it was beautiful inside. Fancy tables and gold silverware. He said it VERY nice inside. The food quality was definitely on point. I don’t recommend the French fries , they aren’t that good. But the gyro was an absolute hit! I will definitely be back to eat inside!! Lol
