Northside Dairy Haven is truly a fantastic stop for ice cream in Edwardsville. Down the road from downtown and its vast variety of tasty eateries is a glowing sign which has plastered below the name North side dairy haven. Might I say it is heaven in the form of a dairy product? From delicious concrete to mouth-watering brownie boats, this place has it all. I love myself anything, which is peanut butter, and the peanut butter concrete is all you need to be in a state of peanut butter induced euphoria. Did i mention the largest banana split I’ve ever seen? Would you like some fries with that shake? There are many food options as well, from hot dogs to burgers and FRIES! North side dairy haven is a great stop with everything you could want under the glow of neon light.

It was recommended to me to try the Friday fish sandwich, since it is Lent I’m on the hunt for meals on Friday. I came here at about 130 pm and ordered the Friday fish sandwich and an order of fries. It took about 8 minutes to get my order, it came out hot and all I can say is WOW!!! It was the best fish sandwich I’ve had period.

We drive about 20 odd miles for this ice cream. Delicious ice cream and concretes. Their sliders are yummy too. Ice cream orders seem to get made quickly but for some reason food takes quite a bit longer. Not a huge deal just something worth mentioning in case you are in a hurry. Otherwise everyone is friendly.

Great place for a sundae, lunch or dinner. I got the sliders with cheese, regular fries and a lg Ice Tea. Sliders were cooked medium, well seasoned. Everything came with grilled onions, pickle and ketchup and mustard. Very tasty and filling. Good value too.

Best ice cream in Madison County! Lots of options/flavors. The girls are always so kind. I love reading their sign with the different fun sayings on it. This is a small location. I would def suggest them get more seating, but over all 5/5! If you have a larger family, its def budget/price friendly as well.

Super cute, retro diner vibe. All employees seemed genuinely happy to be there and to help customers. Love the humor on the signs. Food was DELICIOUS and priced extremely affordably. I like that they had the choice of curly fries or regular, and both were excellent. The seasoning on the regular fries has me trying to figure out the recipe similar to that of Plankton from SpongeBob trying to figure out the krabby patty formula. It’s immaculate. Grilled cheese for $2.10??!?! HECK YEAH BROTHER! Ice cream was delightful and I like that they offered chocolate chips as an add-in, most ice cream places forget about that classic. Owner here is great… will be back for sure!!! Make a stop here!!
