406-Tex-Mex is a food truck that serves Tex Mex food to the Livingston area, including, but not limited to, tacos, quesadillas, tortas, and homemade salsas. We feature meats, such as, carnitas, carne guisada, chorizo, and chicken. A crowd favorite is the cauliflower mini tacos. An East Texas favorite, that I bake is Kolaches with different fillings, upon availability, including, sausage +/-cheese, ham and cheese, egg, potato and bacon, and that list can be endless! The menu rotates daily based on the freshest ingredients that are available to me. Drop by I’ll make you something good. Look forward to seeing y’all.

I went to Gardiner with my girlfriend and family for a weekend trip from Billings, and I saw that this place has breakfast options. I love breakfast, and this place did not disappoint. The owner is super friendly and a great cook! His breakfast tacos and breakfast burrito were delicious! Also, his homemade salsa are da bomb! Everything he makes is from scratch, and you can taste the quality. You can tell he puts in a lot of love into what he does. I highly recommend this place.

Great food truck located outside Ace Hardware. Epic Mexican with great meat options and salsa. Some of the best tacos and quesadillas I have tried. Also has a carne guisada grill cheese that’s super good. Dave is a nice guy and worth stopping!

Best Mexican food in Gardiner! If you get a chance to stop by make sure to try the green sauce, carne guisada, or quesadillas! Those are some of my favorites. If you’re lucky and can make it down on days he has kolaches those are the bomb!!! Lots of things to offer with a variety of meats and lots of vegetarian options.

So I pulled up to David’s out of curiosity, since I’m originally from South Texas and wanted to try out the 406 version of Tex-Mex……it did NOT disappoint! First, David was super kind to fix me a torta, although I think he was technically closed, and proceeded to visit with me about all of the delectable Tex-Mex cuisine he offers, right here in little Gardiner, MT! I’m just bummed that he is closed on Thursday, and that we are headed out early on Friday, or we would be standing first in line when he opens back up. David, thanks for your hospitality! My college kid enjoyed half of that torta and if he gets his dream summer job (in Gardiner) next year, he will be by to get some barbacoa or carne guisada! Blessings to you and your business!
