Heading home from Myrtle beach we had trouble finding a non fast food place open due to it being a Sunday. Well we lucked out and ended up at this restaurant. It was busy and the place was quite full,obviously a popular place among the locals. Large menu and good selection. The portions were huge.I ordered from the kids menu and I was glad I did! The food and service was excellent. Soup (hot & sour) was way too salty so that cost them a star, but on the whole I highly recommend this place. Go hungry.

Friendly staff. Our meal was given to someone else and they didn’t realize until that table finished our meal? Our party was preoccupied catching up so we figured it was just taking a while. The staff was very apologetic & the gal who was responsible for the mistake stopped by to apologize as well. The seaweed salad & miso soup were good. The sushi was fine. I had asked for something from the menu that had a lot of raw meat. The Snow White was suggested. It was ok, not as flavorful as I would have hoped but a nice presentation. Overall, for the area, it provides a decent assortment of sushi options.

We had high hopes for this as we passed through from the highway. The food quality was poor and everything was a bit off: “miso” soup with a very off putting smell and no seaweed or tofu, tempura with no panko- heavily breaded, veg roll with lettuce in it, all salad mix salad, no Japanese soy sauce (came with Chinese soy sauce). The service was friendly, everything was packaged well and our order was correct. If only the food was good! Hopefully they were just having and off day… and this was not their normal way of preparing these dishes.

Food tasted amazing. The prices are definitely fair although on my visit the service was subpar. I’m not sure why because our waitress was constantly checking on us. Still my food came out much later than others who showed up after we arrived and ordered. All that being said I loved it.

Tips From A Bellman
You can’t expect a good Asian restaurant in Laurinburg , but this place is very nice and the service was good . I really like the decor inside . I live in Las Vegas , Nevada where we have a ton of Asian restaurants , so I am probably more critical than the average person in Laurinburg and the area would be . I went with some friends of mine that I was visiting that live here . I come to the Carolinas every couple of years and stay in Laurinburg a couple days to see friends and family .

We’ve tried all the Asian cuisine spots in Scotland county and this one is BY FAR the best food. I’ve had several dishes and most everything was great. One criticism is the spring rolls. They are not the best. Cabbage tends to be undercooked and not very well seasoned. Love their dumplings! I have not tried any sushi yet but I plan to next visit.
