Food is decent but very inconsistent. Was there twice in one week and ordered the same item but came out totally different the second time. In addition, there was a party which took up half the restaurant, which wouldn’t have been a problem, but screaming kids were running around the whole restaurant and outside seating area.

Charming location on Main Street in High Bridge. Live music was playing in background while we had delicious small plates. I had a chopped salad, which was fresh. My mother had the roasted chicken, cooked to perfection. My brother had 2 oysters-huge & fresh. We also ordered fries. Hand cut and yummy. I did send my fish tacos back, but only because I have a sensitivity to spice and they weren’t described as having jalapeno spice. But they took it back and credited the bill, so all was made right.

Been coming here on weekends for about a year…. drinks and apps mostly… at first great.. but in recent visits pretty poor! especially considering the price, which I don’t mind paying but come on… typically ordered the chicken sliders; they come with 3 sliders and the chicken be thick…. But recently ordered them and came out with two sliders, same price.. chicken was paper thin as if it was violated with a meat mallet and cost $18 (we’re talking sliders here) .. diet coke tasted like mop water… it was disgusting. Do better.. will try again but seriously get it together. Went to Riley and Jake’s after sigh.

We have been to Circa many times and it’s either really good or just very disappointing and lately it has been the latter. Food is good but the service and kitchen are painfully slow. We arrived at 4:15 and were immediately seated but took about 10 minutes before we were approached by a waiter; we were the only table at the time. We eventually ordered the flatbread as an appetizer and were told by the waiter that it takes a little bit of time. We said no problem because we’ve ordered it before and it usually doesn’t take very long but we did not realize this time it would take over 30 minutes for us to receive it. From the time we sat down to the time we received our appetizer, 50 minutes had gone by. I could understand if the restaurant was busy but we were literally the only table at the time which makes it entirely unacceptable.We received our entrees shortly thereafter and they were good but overall a very disappointing experience and probably the last time we stop by.
