I used to come here often and decided to try it again. I was definitely ordering a Philly cheesesteak. They have 3 different cheese option but I went with the yellow cheese. It used to be serviced on a larger roll but this time it was more like a skinny baguette. They were also light on the cheese. Still gave them 4 stars since the meat was tasty, bread was fresh and service was quick.

I’m sure there are better cheesesteaks in Philly or something, but this was the best Philly Cheesesteak I’ve had in my LIFE!! Bread was incredible, meat was absolutely perfect with the right amount of onions, peppers and cheese chopped in. Delicious!! This place should be packed 24/7, so I’ll be eating there a lot until people figure it out.

Have been in CA for 40+ years. Grew outside Phily and grew up on Phily steaks. Up till I found them about 6 yrs ago, I could not find true Philly steak. They are soooooo god and are pretty much a Philly steak. Also, the rolls are wonderful. Go there.

Food was great. loved it. But don’t order dessert! Chocolate cake was not soft but gooey and gross. We each ate a bite and it made me and my kids sick all night. Yuck. Won’t eat here again. To the owner- If you know that the dessert you have is old, please don’t serve it to customers. That’s just wrong. You should throw it away and buy a new one. That cake was so old it was slimy. Seriously? And you served that to me? I don’t trust you anymore.

After switching to T-Mobile just across the street, I visited Sam’s Philly Steak Depot with my wife and 3 year old son. We had a lovely lunch. It is counter service but there is plenty of seating. My wife loved her chicken sub, and my son enjoyed his hot dog. A Philli Cheesesteak is my favorite food in the world, so I am very particular in my reviews. I would say this is a VERY GOOD cheesesteak. It didn’t give me that orgasmic cheese steak taste that the very best do… but it was very good. I bet their other things are great too. There are free refills as well which is nice. It’s not self serve refills though. The gentleman working there was very nice. There is a television in here too. I would definitely check this place out. Good fries too!

The owner was standing in front of the restaurant’s door smoking when I got there. I particularly enjoyed the cloud of smoke I had to walk through to get inside. The food is pretty good though. they could maybe take turns smoking in the back lot.
