This brisket basket was amazing! As you can see in the photo, huge sandwich and the house chips were fresh and the coleslaw was great. Very big bang for your buck! I highly recommend, y’all come check this place out.

Very good and slightly unique for a couple of things on the buffet. The hash was sweeter than expected but not bad at all. Price was about right, staff were friendly. Everything I had was good or great. I did not try the cobbler but my friend said it was the best thing he had on our visit and went back for more. Definitely worth a shot if you’re in the area!

I haven’t had their food in a couple of years so I wanted to try some. I got the buffet to go, that was a mistake because I ended up paying $34. I was on my lunch break and it was too far to sit and do the buffet. The food wasn’t what I remember. The meat loaf was very salty. The baked chicken wasn’t cooked enough and I remember the macaroni being so good but not this time. The catfish nuggets, hash and cheese bread was good.

I went here for the first time on July 17, 23 at 11am. I was very impressed and pleased with the food. I was not too crazy about the Coleslaw , but everything else was on the money. I felt welcome because there were so many big belly people there. I felt at home. If you are on a diet, just court this as a day off. Great job. I really do not see why anyone would not want to stay and eat all you care to eat. The only thing you want to do after eating is go to sleep. If you take a lunch break here you would not be any good for anything going back to work. Take a half day.

The only saving grace of this place USED to be their catfish nuggets. Their bbq and sides have always been sub-par. Today they lost 2 customers. The catfish was chewy and tasted fishy (it NEVER did before). The soda was watered-down tasting. The wing chips were so hard they could break teeth (couldn’t eat them) and the bbq and sides, well sucked as usual. The ONLY good item was the banana pudding. I can’t understand why people rave about this place. You can’t even hardly find a parking spot and you are almost elbow-to-elbow inside. I’ll never be back and the person I was with said the same thing.

Quality of the food was excellent. Tea was out during most the time I was there. Meager selection of barbecue meats (1) pulled pork. No brisket. No ribs. No sliced barbecue. No darbecue chicken. Barbecue was out on the first pass. Waited 3 or 4 minutes for barbecue to arrive still none. Mac and cheese was phenomenal. Hush puppies were phenomenal. Fried fish very good. Barbecue on the second plate was better than average and was tasty. Scored this 4 out of 5 stars as you just don’t run outta sweet tea or barbecue when doing a busy lunch service.

The food is amazing . It is delicious . So flavorful its a magical experience . The bbq is very tender and the sauce sweet and delicous . I recomend this place to everybody . The banana pudding is great . It only serves lunch but im sure they cater for special occasions. I first tried them a few years ago in a company thanksgiving lunch and it was so memorable that i remembered how good it was that I had to look up the address and go back. You will not be dissapointed , with food this good you get what you pay for .

All the classic Southern staples done just right. Great price for the buffet, clean lobby, and a constant rotation of hot & fresh food. Also, the lady at the register is super friendly.

Definitely a goto for soul/bbq !! Me personally I don’t eat meat but the catfish nuggets are amazing . Nothing like a good plate of Fish N Chips . The cobbler is A1 as well . Other then that a good veggie plate is fine with me . My son loooves the fried chicken w/ mac & cheese . ( he did his happy dance)
