The place is a bit dingy but the food was very good! I had a taco dinner that came with two tacos, beans, and rice for $10.99. The shells were cooked just the way I liked them and the hot sauce they gave me was TOP NOTCH. The beans were some of the best I’d ever had! Quite the value meal at $10.99 for the amount of food I got and the quality, too!

Food may be ever so slightly better than San Marcos. Unfortunately, portions are 40% smaller than San Marcos for the price. Additionally, I informed them my food was $5 more than the Google menu has and they got defensive. They said they could not update. I politely kept reminding them it was fine and can be done in 30 seconds on maps. They escalated arguing. I said it’s fine I’ll upload your menu myself. I took one to go. The menus in the restaurant itself I’m now finding are not even updated. The prices have been raised multiple times and there’s a disclaimer sticker on the menu saying the prices are incorrect. They do this instead of having accurate prices online or on physical menus. A bit odd but then being defensive and combative about it was a red flag. Picture for reference. I was polite entire time repeatedly saying hey just to let you know…. No worries… I’m just letting you know… they followed me outside arguing about it. Uncomfortable. The owner could have updated their menu in significantly less time it took them to respond to this review. One picture. Upload. His tactic is clearly to get people into the restaurant knowing they’re much less likely to leave once they’ve driven all the way there. He keeps prices low on here refusing to update prices to lure people to the restaurant and then jacks prices up several times what’s listed. A classic bait and switch. This is anti community. Anti small town. Unethical. It’s 100% obvious it’s intentional.

We ate at Mexican Connection for lunch and enjoyed every bite! The nachoes were delicious and the Flautas lunch special was fantastic too. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the tortillas were so soft and tender. Their horchattas are delicious to drink too! Very reasonable prices for everything.

We were the only ones there to start with. The food came out fast, and then no one came to the table to see if everything was OK. I had to flag someone down to order something to go. The food was pretty good, but the chips and salsa left a lot to be desired.

Chips were overcooked. Salsa was peppery. My chimichunga was soggy not crispy on the outside. It didn’t have any cheese sauce on it and the burrito sauce that was on it tasted like brown gravy. The chicken on the inside was tasty but also mixed with refried beans. I had maybe 8 pieces of diced tomato that were so pale they could pass for discolored onions. Just not as good as it used to be for sure. Food was hot and service was fast. Waitstaff is always cheerful and helpful. We will be back but will wait a little while in hopes of improvement.

Food was just ok. Food came out quick but not all was very hot. Hostesses were great, very attentive. Didn’t care for management owner? Maybe son? who were yelling at young employees in front of customers, bad business practice if you ask me. Probably would not go back for that reason alone.
