We wanted authentic Mexican food, and this restaurant was pretty close to authentic. The waitress was a bit shy, but helpful and attentive. The decorations were definitely authentic Mexican. The food was good, but not amazing, but we only got chorizo tacos and mole enchiladas. The restaurant wasn’t overly clean or tidy.

Order take out through eat street, which means I paid for everything in advance. When I showed up to get my food, I was told I had to pay more and they demanded cash. They wouldn’t give me my food I already paid for. In other words, they stole money from me. Still trying to get my refund from eat street. This place is a scam, DO NOT EAT HERE.

Tried a new Mexican cuisine place in Manty. Fairly limited menu. Food was fine and received prompt enough. No check on us from waitress after getting food, also had to go pay bill proactively. No one else in restaurant at this time. Gave it a try, but won’t revisit.

Cute little “ma and pop” type Mexican restaurant! Authentic Mexican food, unlike the corporated Mexican restaurants. Friendly owners and staff. Mexican market connected on other side. Highly recommended!!

Food was okay, service was even worse. Rice and beans not very good, fajitas were okay but not too much flavor. Pork chimichanga had lots of fat in it. Chips tasted old but the salsa was very good, probably the best part of the meal. Service was decent till we got our food. Then we sat for 20-30 minutes. Never once checked how things were or if we needed a drink. We all needed a drink and couldn’t wash down our meal which was a bummer. Our server sat on their phone while we sat at the table waiting for a bill and drink. Would I go back? Probably not. Would I recommend it to anyone? Probably not. Better off just finding a different restaurant unfortunately.

These guys are terrific! Great food, large portions, fair price and very accommodating. Came in with a large group of friends. We were all able to order as needed and sit together for a late lunch. Excellent service. Thank you El Alamo

Last time I went to El Alamo they messed up my order So I called back and spoke to the owner’s wife and she told me there was nothing she could do that’s what I ordered and would not fix it for me so I ate it anyways and got extreme food poisoning the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had in my life I was violently throwing up the The quality of the food has gone downhill big time this place needs to be shut down immediately! I have also talked to other people that have gotten extreme food poisoning from El Alamo also! The customer service there is also horrible!
