Yummy food. Best beef and broccoli I’ve tasted. Really great crab puffs and egg rolls! Sweet and sour pork was delicious as well. Hot oils weren’t very spicy but hot mustard was. I’m sad that this is best Chinese I’ve tried in Oregon and I’m hours away from it.

Had guests in town and ordered take away. The portions were very generous and packaged really well for take out. The food was absolutely delicious. The fried wontons were the perfect starter with drinks. The shrimp salad was fresh, crisp, and flavorful. We had the paper wrapped chicken appetizer which was very tender and everyone loved the spices. We also had Spring Rolls which were hot, crispy, and an excellent balance of spice and flavors. The pork bbq was marinated in a lovely mix of spices that everyone enjoyed and the pork was very tender and juicy. We had an order of special fried rice which was hot and tasty. Even the leftovers reheated well. I recommend the sesame balls for dessert. It’s a unique light dessert with the perfect amount of sweetness.

This has to be the best Chinese food I have had in Central Oregon! They were efficient, kind, attentive and family ran. I live in Bend and whenever I’m wanting Chinese I will most definitely be making the drive to Lapine to have this delicious dish again! 10/10 recommend!

New to the area, neighbors all said “For great Chinese food go to the Lucky Fortune restaurant”. So we went there, its a small restaurant, family run – Well lit & clean. OK, my fiance’ and I are sort of creatures of habit. So we ordered what we generally order everywhere else. Tea, Crab won tons, egg rolls, soup, chow mein, white rice, and then Mongolian beef – and My date ordered broccoli beef (Out of character). We were NOT prepared. First, the amount of food that came to our table was beyond what we expected nor are used to. The amount of meat they give you was impressive to say the least. Normally, you get more veggies than meat. It was the reverse. The number of won tons/crab puffs, and egg rolls was more than we are used to as well. The food – all was DELICIOUS. The server, and her helpers were very friendly also. We paid $60 for the entire thing. Back home, the same meal would have been about $100, and not nearly as much left overs as we took home. Seriously, lasted us a few days! Although, we are new to La Pine – we are foodies. We highly recommend this restaurant. GREAT food, and a GREAT value for your wallet. We could have fed 3 friends in addition to ourselves, had we brought them with us. We still are amazed at the quantity & quality of the food. We will becoming regulars here.

This place is a true rags to riches story. I kind of liked them before new ownership, but it wasn’t…good.
