Great location and arguably the best meal I’ve had in a national park. The prices are high but you’re paying for the location and historic Paradise Inn ambience. My wife and I both had the burger and then followed up with a mixed berry pie and chocolate cake. The food was above average but I understand why some people complain about the value. Service was good but it seemed as if they were understaffed during the busy dinner rush. Would definitely eat here again but wouldn’t do so more than once per trip to the park. It was definitely convenient after a long day of hiking.

I had dinner twice. On the first day, had northwest salad, duck breast, creme brulee and a glass of pinot noir. On the second day, had croquettes, salmon, panna cotta, a glass of riesling, and a camp muir cocktail. About food, it was quite satisfactory. I think people expecy too much for here. The texture of panna cotta and rissoto(with salmon) was not super good, but you know this is not a 5 star hotel restaurant or Michelin star restaurant. It’s quite expensive but it’s at the top so I can understand it. Staffs are not enough to cover the whole restaurant, but try to do their best. Anyway, I was satisfied with this place(the price is quite expensive though).

Prices are as expected at a Park restaurant. Surrounding is beatific. Staff is friendly. I had Marsala cauliflower which was tasty, maybe slightly over cooked. The burger was good. Lots of food. Had Rainer lager at Mt. Rainier. A good meal in Paradise.

Do not eat from here, bring your own food. Its so over-priced. We were taken aback by how costly the things were. Even a bowl of soup was 16$ and it was served in a tiny bowl. Also, they took like 25 mins to heat up a bowl of soup.

Salad was good! The chicken was as dry and tasted like Manila paper our order came out within just 5 minutes definitely microwave food, The risotto tasted like boxed mashed potato and it cost $40 for the overcooked salmon and $35 for the boiled chicken without salt. If u wanna buy something and really hungry don’t have a choice definitely go for the dry burger the burger fries are edible but the fries that comes with the chicken was hard as wooden tables inside their restaurant. 🙂 If u can just buy sandwiches in the visitor’s area

Overall a pretty meh experience. It wasn’t as bad as some of the 1 star reviews make it out to be, but it is incredibly overpriced for what you get. I had the mushroom pasta, my husband has the steak, and my stepson the salmon. It was all fairly lukewarm temperature wise, but otherwise fine. The prices though – they really have you over a barrel with choices, so they can charge what they want, and the prices felt like we were eating in Manhattan but without the same level of quality.

If I could give negative stars I would but the lowest I can give is a 1 star so here we are. This place sucks. Plain and simple. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Buy food before, pack food, bring granola bars, eat the snow, or go hungry. Anything is better than eating here. If you like the taste of sweaty feet then this is a place for you. Don’t even get me started on the prices. For the quality they put out, the prices are CRIMINAL. There’s a Dominos 1.5 hour away, please go there instead. There’s a Chevron about 40 minutes away. Those options will be 10X better than eating here. I implore you, I’m literally begging you, please do not think about eating here. Don’t give it a chance, you will be disappointed heavily. There was no saving grace to this place. The service was also extremely poor, no steak knives, no water refills, nothing.

Surprising amount of vegan options and clearly labeled. Had a great meal, great views, great service. Beautiful place inside and out. No complaints at all. Yes it’s pricey but that’s what you get 3 hours from civilization. Not sure what the other reviewers were expecting???
