This place is *crushing it* when it comes to subs. Amazing bread (proprietary recipe baked exclusively for Sub Arena by Hy-Vee, I’ve heard.) Wow. Layered meats, just the right mayo. Just say “whole #1 on white, hot” and let them work the magic. Simple process and delicious result. Tasty dill pickle included. Modest and comfortable dining area with lots of space. Easy parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Independent sandwich shop in business for approximately 40 years, so you know they are doing things right. I only regret that this was my first visit (living out of state), but I’m going to fix that.

We came all the way from keokuk Iowa to have Submarina. We got there at 6:15 and they were closed they advertise that they close at 7pm. Was VERY disappointed!
