The worst Southwestern chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. So plain and dry. Chicken breast wasn’t event warm evenly with cold spots and the southwest part was like two slices green peppers and an avacado. White bread for the sandwich also felt overly dry to me. Sandwich took about 15 mins which is way too long for a simple sandwich. The staff were nice and trying bc it was 7pm and it was one of the last places open in the airport. I didn’t even finish half the sandwich. Next time I’d just grab a pop tart from the news stand stores.

My Uber driver (aside from giving me some great spots to try on my next visit) suggested suggested this place and said that the pilots all got the Green Chili Chicken soup from here. Decided I’d try it and I was not disappointed! The soup was spicy but very tasty and the staff were friendly. Driver definitely earned her 5 Stars!

I’ve purchased the green chili chicken soup on several occasions because it really is delicious. But twice, including Sat, it gave me an upset stomach. And twice the lid wasn’t properly sealed so it leaked out all over the place. So sad. But cashiers are usually helpful and friendly 🙂

The only food open at ABQ, with long flights and short layovers thought I better get something. Long line, of course, took about 30 min to get a sandwich. No paninis, nothing special today, hurry and order. Admittedly my fault for not stopping the avocado spread, but it had literally turned to mud by the time I got on plane and the order wasn’t right, either. Over $17 for a sandwich and a bottle of water, it’s astounding. I get the lines, glad they were trying, but this felt so disappointing for such a wait and so much money!! If you’re going to ABQ bring your own food.

Food is disappointing. Got southwest chicken. Avocado tasted like plastic, chicken is unseasoned and cold, and I actually found a piece of plastic in my sandwich. Lettuce is wilted and bread is dry and falling apart. At least it had green chili.

Their green chili chicken soup might be the best airport meal I’ve ever had. Fresh ingredients, comforting — but also with a spicy punch of spice and flavor from the generous amount of green chilies in the soup.

I Always stop here for their green Chile chicken soup. It’s the best so good! Today’s was soo freaking hot in the best way. Good Chile! Also great was the oat milk latte they made me with vanilla and cinnamon. While I adore their soup I have to give the biggest shout out to the guys working the register and the one who made my latte. Both young men were very kind. My latte was delicious and I wouldn’t have known it was an option if it wasn’t for the young man at the register. It’s so nice to be treated so well. Thank you mijos! You did a great job! Your customer service was spot on!

So I’m a big Cinamon Twist fan, and while going through the Albquerque airport I came across Comida Buena to get some coffee. They had the Best….bar none…..Cinamon Twists I have ever had. This is a must try.

Ordered breakfast for 2 they were 2 simple sandwiches; a ham, cheese and an egg, cheese, bacon in white bread with butter for ~$25. The order had to be repeated 4 times, had to wait over 10 minutes for an overpriced, burnt sandwich that they had forgotten the butter and to top it off we’re cold. Never again.

I had the turkey avocado sandwich and a large coffee. $15. Average to above average food for airport food. Expensive as expected for airport food. Try this place out if you are in the mood for a sandwich.
