Nice little spot for brunch/ lunch. Although I was disappointed that they’re marketed as a Cajun/ Louisiana style kitchen and are far from. Burgers are good, fish tacos are good. However I ordered Jambalaya and what they call Jambalaya is clearly a Gumbo, not what I was wanting. Limited actual Cajun style cooking or menu. As someone who travels to Louisiana a lot, I got my hopes up and was disappointed. Nice atmosphere, non “Cajun” items are good. Would recommend for brunch or regular lunch items.

Had lunch recently on a weekday and overall good experience. We sat outside on the patio, which was nice and every table was filled. Our server was friendly and prompt and food came out quickly. We tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Wrap and the Italian Sub. The chicken wrap was underwhelming – a small amount of fried chicken, a few pieces of cabbage, and a little cheese. I’d recommend increasing all of the above and really loading that thing up, especially the cabbage for a good crunch, and try tossing the chicken in some sauce prior to wrapping and serve with a side of ranch or blue cheese. That would bump it up a few notches and make it memorable! The flavor wasn’t big and it wasn’t hot at all for having “hot” in the name. The Italian sub was pretty good, but a lot of bread, so the filling to bread ratio was off. The Saratoga chips were pretty good. Perhaps these just weren’t the best items on the menu, as many other reviewers seem to have had great food. But it sounds like this place is much improved from what it used to be per a few following conversations with local diners.

Maybe I chose poorly. I had the bourbon glazed pork chop, and it was one of the blandest meals I’ve ever had. No sear on the chop, mediocre glaze flavor, the potato and vegetable sides had absolutely no detectable seasoning. It was what I expect nursing home food to taste like. It filled the empty space in my stomach. That’s the only positive thing I can say.

Cozy restaurant with good food and good service. My husband had the Nashville Hot Chicken Wrap and I had the Ham and Swiss Melt. Both were really good! The melt came on a pretzel roll with honey dijon that made this sandwich stand out! Our service was fast and friendly and the prices were reasonable. They have a nice patio area for when the weather is warmer.

I’ve never been here before and I wanted to check it out. Menu was varied and great. I got the apple walnut salad with grilled chicken with balsamic dressing in place of the raspberry. Perfect ratios of chicken to cranberries to salad. Very delicious. I also got a side of Saratoga chips. My only complaint was the BBQ sauce was super sweet and that’s just not my personal favorite. Otherwise, great waitresses and a friendly atmosphere!

We celebrated my birthday at Public House. They changed the sign out front to wish me a Happy Birthday (nice touch). The food was amazing, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.
