This goes out to J Dubs in Ann Arbor who says he hasn’t seen anything good today. Danke schoen Jorge Taco for scintillating my pallet. The tacos are slightly spendy ($4.25) compared to comparable in Milwaukee or Chicago but the carne (I had one steak and one chicken) es muy sabrosa, veggie garnish is fresh and the corn tortillas lovingly crisped. I stopped here on a Saturday morning en route to the Green Liberty political picnic and was the only one sitting at the rain-puddled steel picnic tables but I can imagine that the nice al fresco crossroads could get lively with harvest flushed campesinos and station wagons of families exploring the Kettle Moraine.

If you have drove by and seen Jorge’s truck and have yet to stop… DO IT!!! I promise you won’t be disappointed. It’s Mexican food with a Cuban twist that’s to die for. Shout out to Jorge on the most delicious tacos my family & I have ever had at a truck/restaurant. Keep up the great work Jorge!

We saw their food truck and stopped by on a random day…and man was it worth the stop!!!! Amazing food and even better service. The gentleman was so nice and so charming. We were even a few dollars short in cash (the truck is cash only) and he still gave us our drinks!! Definitely recommend stopping by 🙂

We’ve been coming to Jorge Taco for a few years now and he has the best tacos and rice I’ve ever eaten…hands down! His 2 pork taco and rice special is the best, especially with his homemade salsa on top! You get a lot of very delicious food for the money!

Now at the intersection of 45 and 67 Jorge Taco has the best tacos this side of the Mississippi! And I’ve been to both sides of the Mississippi. Walking up to this unassuming oasis of Mexican flavor, you will find the kindest taco slinging gentleman named Jorge. We ordered several tacos at his recommendation. Not only did they blow our taste buds away, but he even threw in 2 extra tacos and an extra tamale that was like finding Santa’s present under the tree on a brisk Christmas morning. We must have been on the nice list this year as our jolly Jorge delivered us the most delicious surprise. We will be back soon, but will crave the chili garlic sauce for many nights to come.

July 2023 — dropped a couple stars. Google said open Sundays at noon, we arrived at 130 and it was closed up. Mildly frustrated since it was 40 min out of way to revisit with family after hyping them up about how great the food was. Edit submitted to revise hours.
