We simply don’t go often enough to 2nd Street Market, such a good place to walk through, experience, and spend a little money. Many cool food options throughout the market, but this Cubano (I think that is the name) sandwich at Napales was just awesome. I mean, it isn’t cheap, but if you are eating at 2nd Street Market, you probably know that already. Great flavors combined together, from the spicy pickle to the meat to the cheese to the meat to the cheese to the crunchy bread… Great sandwich. We even took one home to be eaten by our first born over an hour later, and I think “life changing” was among the words used to describe it (a bit dramatic, that one is). This is a sandwich you enjoy and experience. Don’t eat it without appreciating each bite.

Tried the taco salad with barbacoa, the Carne asada taco (American style), and a Carne asada taco salad. Everything was good! The barbacoa was my favorite, it was really flavorful.

Wow, this lunch was fantastic. I couldn’t believe how much food I was given, and the flavor profiles were very different. This was not a pile of mush that coagulation together. The crusty bread, the filling, the chips and salsa, just great eats.

My go to food at the 2nd Street market. This is not like Mexican food you’d expect to get anywhere else. Far superior, everything on the menu is fantastic. But I really want to mention the Cubano sandwich they added last winter. It is outstanding if you love a Cubano sandwich.

Out of this world, flavorful Mexican food – in the dead of winter! Napale’s 2nd Street Market booth may currently be closed (it’s February) but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy their phenomenal food. We hired them to provide curbside pickup food for an 18th birthday party and I think it was the favorite present given. Pictured are handmade barbacoa tamales, homemade guacamole, salsa roja (for the tamales), delicious pico de gallo, and a full tray of fixin’s for incredibly good tacos al pastor. (Homemade chips not pictured – couldn’t get a photo with no hands in it. And to drink, refreshing Agua Fresca Jamaican Hibiscus.) Don’t wait for spring to come around to get your Napales fix – call them now and get a curbside to-go order. Fantastic!

Most slept on Mexican food in Dayton! Amazing food, always fresh, and you can enjoy your meal in the ambiance of 2nd Street Market. The pambazo sandwich is my fav but the tamales are also delightful

Friendly chef owner operator. Quality food cooked to order. Generous servings. Delicious and unusual drink options like Alfonso mango juice and hibiscus tea. This is located inside the Webster Street Station. So you order at the stand but then have to find seeding out in the main area. There are restrooms with in Webster Street Station but not immediately adjacent to the food stand. If you want a more boring drink option like coffee or soda, adjacent vendor’s can provide that.

Insanely good. This is definitely by far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. And I’m a Mexican food freak. I got 3 street tacos, 1 carnita, 1 chicken, and 1 barbacoa for $12. They were so good. All of the flavors blend together so well, the juiciness of the meat, the fresh cilantro and onion, and the perfect crispness of the shell. The second I took a bite I knew I’d have to write a review, and I never give reviews. I will no doubt be coming back again soon

The tacos were good. However they do not offer yellow cheese and the white cheese is tasteless. It is not authentic barbacoa, just regular beef. Also the lady that was plating and serving the food kept wiping sweat from her forehead and then touching the food containers, napkins and forks she was handing out. Her sweat hand was not gloved, it not sanitary. On the up side the guacamole was very good.
