Potato salad and rye bread were great, service excellent. Perch seemed to be pre-breaded packaged frozen and reheated. Walleye was overcooked, could have been rewarmed, skin on. Both were very fishy tasting. Drinks were not worth the money.

The owners are terrific people and the burgers! Ah, fresh, never frozen, hand made and delicious. Aged cheddar butter burger was the best burger we’ve ever had. And that is saying something.

Can’t tell you how thrilled I am to find this diamond of a restaurant. Food was delicious, served hot and quickly (even though I was one of a large party of women). Service was refreshingly friendly and accommodating (both from bar and table staff). I will definitely return.

Like the other reviews say not very assuming from the outside. And if you’re on a motorcycle the parking area is gravel. Once inside though this place is very inviting.

Yet another great dinner at Castiron. I usually order the evening specials, and last night’s didn’t disappoint. An awesome low country boil complete with shrimp AND crawdads. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is awesome complete with a clean bar area and a very comfortable dining room.

We were there on Friday night. The selection was very limited, and they were out of half of the limited menu. We had the crab cake appetizer and found them to be lacking in flavor. I’d heard good things about this place, so for my first time there I was very disappointed. I wanted to try something different but ended up getting a cheeseburger because they were out of everything interesting.

Eat here! So as an appetizer we had Scottish eggs outstanding! The bloody Mary was perfectly spicy for me. Next I kept it simple with just a cheeseburger. This may be the best on the peninsula. I’m not kidding and I have had a burger at most places here north of GB. The wife had pad thia and she loved it. The brother had a meatball the size of a fist sided with 4 slices of garlic and cheese bread. The atmosphere is casual but the food is very refined. We will be back and often. Make a point to eat here.

Awesome food at amazing prices! If you’re here reading reviews just know dine in is available… The owner has been trying to get the person who is currently in control of this page removed but they/as well as google are refusing to do so… They are also closed on Sundays which it isn’t showing!
