This was my first time here. I got the Chicken Pita and the chicken was super dry. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said that is what the sauce is for and asked if I wanted more sauce. Anyways would NOT recommend that dish!!! My friend had the ribs and they were wonderful. The fried mushrooms were really good.

I went to this location as a suggestion from a co-worker. I was looking for a sit down family meal from a family owned restaurant. The parking lot was packed so I knew this was going to be good. From the waitress to the food everything was excellent including the sweet tea ! I will be back again and again.

Delicious!! So many choices, i finally had to over to the specials page to decide. Fried Liver and onions, greens and Mac & cheese hit the spot and I had enough left over for lunch the next day. We’ll definitely be headed back very soon. You want be disappointed.

Great place to go for home cooking when you don’t feel like cooking yourself. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The service is always great. They’ll make sure to refill your drink often. They always have specials and it’s always a nice variety. I had the marinated beef strips with rice and gravy the last time I was here and really enjoyed it. The inside isn’t dated and is kept clean. Love coming to the Family House.

Neighborhood eatery that stays busy all the time. Service has improved and the staff is friendly. For a party of 7 at lunch, it was a short wait to be seated and quick service on the food. Nice selection of desserts…if I had only left room to indulge. Daily lunch specials along with full menu options.

My mother and I visited for a late lunch. My mother suffers from mid stages into moderate Alzheimer’s. We were looking forward to sitting down and just enjoying time together. I had no issue with having to wait for a bit for a table, but I didn’t care for managements (male in his 50’s with glasses) attitude while seating my handicapped mother. You could tell he just did not want to deal with us. Handicap parking and all other regular spots were full with exception of the to go and online order spots. I decided to park in the furthest online order spot away and let the staff know the reason why being my mother struggles to walk. Cash register staff and waitress were great and said it shouldn’t be an issue. When we finished our meal and we’re assisting my mom back into the car the to go order staff (older lady with long pony tail) made sure to inform us that we shouldn’t have parked there. I let her know we had permission, but wouldn’t be returning anyways due to management attitudes and the food really wasn’t all that great. With all honesty the food tasted like salted cardboard, banana pudding was room temp , food had been sitting under heaters for awhile, and the bathrooms were filthy so I really have no regrets on not returning. I just hate we wasted $50 on the meal. On a positive note the waitress was nice. My personal opinion is this place is surviving on having been there long-term and people just keep returning because it’s what they always have done.

Overrated spot. This use to be my “go to” spot for breakfast but the older female with long hair has been rude on more than one occasion and I’m done. Her energy is not how I choose to start my day. A customers experience can easily be swayed by a simple smile.
