I don’t think I’ve ever had a meal where I have felt that it was truly made with love. I ordered the grilled salmon here and that with the spaghetti was remarkable. Every bite was savory. I accidentally poured too much balsamic vinaigrette on the salad, but all of the tastes combined were perfection. The minestrone soup was delicious as well. Such a good, clean eating place to visit.

A hidden gem located right in the Trader Joe’s and Bed Bath and beyond plaza right on PCH. You can dine in or even do take out. I sometimes get their wraps but mainly the pastas! So delicious!

Even though this restaurant was not busy on a Sunday evening 5:45pm 2/19/23 the hostess denied my family (me and 11 and 13yr old) service when asked why, she told me there was a party of 20 coming in 30 minutes. I told her we would be gone by then, we were staying at the hotel next door. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me they really didn’t want any kids. Shame on this establishment.

This place raises a question: what does Mama Says? I don’t know, but I do know this: “PASTA la vista, baby” is what Arnold Schwarzenegger would say if he were to visit this place. Let’s start with the decor: the carrots, what on God’s green earth is up with that? So. Many. Carrots. I felt like I was walking into the corporate offices of Instacart, or something . The attention was great. Cashier/attendant was kind, courteous and even though at one point I mistakenly spilled some juice on the floor, she nonchalantly handled it. The food is fantastic and the portions are JUST right. Not too much and not too little either. The “juices” are SUBPAR. Save your money and drink mouthwash instead. The dessert, or at least the tiramisu I had, will have you wishing you had tried this place sooner. So yes, fantastic pasta and dessert. Lousy juices and quirky decor. A great place overall, or at least that’s what Mama Says.

Unexpected gem in south South Bay! Amazing salad (Rosey Chick) – large enough for 2 meals! Spaghetti carbonara was delicious as well – smaller than the salad, but very rich, so also enough for 2 meals. Definitely want to go back, Lord willing!
