It’s the lady in the drive thru. SHE HAS THE BEST CUSTOMER SEVICE! The food was awesome and always hot and freshhhhhh! Fantastic place to go. Wish we had one over here in mobile!

This place is GREAT! I don’t know why it’s not a 4.5 star or more restaurant, because the food is great, it’s clean, and the staff are so nice. I love it!

The food is always excellent. The restaurant is quaint. You order at the front counter like a fast food restaurant. I go here mainly for take out.

I enjoy going to David’s Catfish Express. It is a great place to grab a quick bite of seafood. The drive thru is a great thing and has quick service. The choices on the menu have grown and gives you a lot to pick from. We came here to pickup takeout for lunch. My wife got a 3 piece catfish basket. She said it was fried crisp and really enjoyed it. I wanted to try the Shrimp Po-boy. I have had the fish before and prefer to eat that at the actual restaurant in Spanish Fort. The po-boy was loaded with great tasting shrimp and had a soft bread that made it easy to eat. The fries were soggy and not special. That could be due to it being in the takeout box for 10 minutes so who knows. I will try a few more things they have to offer and review those items too. We will be back and look forward to another visit.

Scheduled a pick up order through DoorDash. When arriving, the ticket had not even been picked up, therefore, the food was not ready. Once I made it home, there were items missing. The food was overcooked, hard & greasy from the oil used to fry. Called the manager, Michael, he pretty much said we weren’t missing items that I paid for. $85.00 was a waste. 1/10.

Smooth transaction using their online ordering option. Just order online, drive to the business and get in their drive-thru line & then tell them you had an online order. Easy!

I was a first time customer. We tried grabbing something Togo and at 815pm on 5 April 2023 the employees ran to lock the door. The business doesn’t close until 9 pm. Unfortunately they refused services. The location was in Daphne, AL. I was able to receive excellent service at Chick-fil-A down the street.

To me, growing up in the area & eating this for many years, this Express restaurant is a racket. We got very little food and it was over $50! The shrimp baskets have a “handful” (their words) of shrimp in them. Turns out that’s 5 or less shrimp. We paid $14.99 for 5 shrimp, a very small thing of coleslaw and a few fries. The fish was so hard I couldn’t eat it. I will NOT go back. Oh and I paid $4.50 for a pint of coleslaw. That’s what they are known for. I can normally make a meal off of it with some crackers. It was a complete letdown to bite into that and it tastes NOTHING like David’s coleslaw. If this place is going to make it it has to do something about the portion sizes, service, consistency and prices.

Five pieces of catfish and two hush puppies and 6 oz of warm turnip greens for 15 dollars? The fish pieces were the size of bacon and though nicely fried, I feel overcharged and underserved. Not going back. Was my third visit with the same results. Am from a catfish rich background and you all are not giving the customer a good valve . Fifteen bucks for what you served and I’m still hungry? Won’t give you another chance. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
