My guy loved the fish and prime rib of Friday’s buffet. I found the food way too salty. We pointed out to our waitress the dessert was running low, she kept us updated. Eventually a pan of dessert came out without sprinkles, followed by another tray with sprinklers, but before I could get any another worker took the spinkled dessert back to the kitchen, probably to pace consumption. We had never been before and were unsure where the Garden room was located. Btw, the drinks were strong.

Excellent brunch buffet, with both variety and quality. No one at our table of 9 went away disappointed. Staff are a delight and make you feel like a regular! Highly recommend, and we will be repeat customers!

9 of us went for Mother’s Day brunch. An automatic tip of almost $40 was added to our bill, it was a holiday and crazy busy so understandable but we thought a little much! We were not able to try some of the items because they ran out of food often. Everything was good as usual but unfortunate that it wasn’t all available to us during the 45 minutes we were there…

Crab legs on buffet were small. Pretty sure illegal size. Scallops are not real. Shrimp both deep fried and cocktail were tasty and good size. My wife really enjoyed the twice baked potato. Probably won’t ever go back. Drinks were good.

A week ago my wife and daughter wanted to go out for a ln old school supper club fish fry. We had never been to the Colonial House before so I told my wife I had a surprise for her. All I told her was she could get an old fashioned as a hint. I made reservations for 3 at 6pm that Friday night. We got there about 5:44pm and checked in with the hostess. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the old school supper club feel. At 6pm on the dot they called our name. This was a pleasant surprise to us because usually reservations are just approximate times. We all decided to try the Friday night buffet as it was our first time at the restaurant. They had an amazing spread of different foods and a HUGE salad bar with two soups as is a Wisconsin supper club tradition. The fish was very good and the beef tenderloin was fantastic. My favorite dish was the fried walleye. It was probably the best walleye I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that loves the old school Wisconsin supper clubs and wants a night out. We will definitely be back and hope to try different things on the next visit.

So we went for mothers day brunch. Our server was wonderful, but the atmosphere is old. Update the place! The food was mediocre. Not worth the family going out of the way. Skip it until they make some changes.

Back in the day, their food was really good, specifically the Friday fish and the salad bar.

Went for Easter Sunday and there was nothing. They actually had less stuff for Easter Sunday than their normal Sunday Brunch. I paid $25/ plate and was only able to eat a salad, 2 pieces of bacon, mash potatoes and running scrambled eggs. We had no wait staff until 30 min into our meal. If you have any dietary restrictions, I would call ahead to ensure they will have something available for you to eat. We did not book these reservations a family member did. I heard the Saturday buffet had prime rib and crab legs and way more food so we were hoping for something more than 1 serving cart of food.

Food was ok. Salad bar was a disappointment, since there wasn’t any fresh fruit. The other brunches I have been to in the area, have fresh fruit. Cantaloupe, oranges, bananas, grapefruit, grapes, or the fruit that is most affordable at the time.
